Shadows of Dragons

Chapter 2: Forest

Todoroki's pov

Rumors are at night the forest is most dangerous. People go missing at night. Even under the light of the moon nothing could stop these deadly dangers.

Some of our best fighters went missing. Father always trained me to be better than them. But he can't control people like his puppets.

He wants everyone to be under his control. What will he do now that his greatest weapon is gone? Will he fear for his life? He should if he doesn't.

I patted my horse's head gently. She stopped running and was now trotting around.

The forest was dark and gloomy at this time of night. It felt like the trees were leaning towards us.

"You out here alone?" A deep raspy voice called out

I pulled on the leash of my horse. She stopped and I looked around us. But I couldn't see anything except darkness and trees.

"Why does it matter?" I asked

"Because I don't think a nasty prince like you is a threat to me."

Sliding off of my horse I looked around closer. My eyes caught two crimson eyes staring at me in the distance.

"I'm not a threat, but I'm also not a nasty prince."

"Why are you here?" He growled

"I'm leaving my kingdom to find a new place."

"I can tell you that you don't belong here." He was getting closer

"Why not?"

"Because dragons will kill you."

I regret that I didn't bring a weapon. The only thing I can use is my quirk but that's risky.

"And you won't?" I asked

"Who said I wasn't a dragon!?" He was close enough for me to see him

Blond spikey hair, deep crimson eyes, a red with fur cape, and dark brown pants with boots. Why does he not have a shirt? •~•

I must have been staring because he suddenly launched himself at me. I could barely react in time.

He was growling at me. If I use my fire I could set the trees on fire. Plus father would know my location.

Ice slowly crept up my arm while I waited for him to attack. But I decided to attack him first. I'm not a scared of him.

Okay maybe just a bit because he's a dragon but that doesn't matter. I tried to punch his face but his reaction is quick.

Suddenly his hand was around my arm. How can he move so quickly? I thought he was going to be slower. I'm actually going to have to try my best to survive this.

I made sure to make ice was going on his arm too. He smirked and blasted an explosion at my face. Which was powerful enough for my head to hit a tree.

My hand felt my head which was bleeding a bit. I started running around him fast.

He was looking around trying to use an explosion but wasn't hitting me. Suddenly I jumped at him and burned his arm.

"Seems like you're like your father with your flames!" He chuckled

"I don't kill innocent people though."

"You think I do!?"

"No, my father kills innocent people."

"I think you will as well!" He blasted my cheek

Fighting a dragon is difficult. Especially when they already have a grudge against you. But it's actually just against your father. '•_•'

My head hit the ground really hard. Everything was blurry but I'm not going out without one last hit.

I put my hand on the ground and made an ice spike. It went through his arm and he groaned.

He looked at me with so much hatred. His loud stomps remind me of father and I curl into a ball on the ground before I pass out.

*Bakugou's pov*

This son of Endeavor is actually strong. Usually people I fight against don't even land a touch on me.

If I take this prince I'll have something against Endeavor. This could be my only chance.

Plus this is good because he's actually strong. Also seems like he has some sort of hatred against him.

Endeavor is going to pay for what he's done. The last thing he'll see is my eyes staring into his soul as I tare his head off.
