We walked through the large white doors. Penny grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him, while Xander and Jonathan stood in front of me, both carrying pistols.
They came prepared. But so did the people that worked for Penny's parents.
When walking in, we immediately saw people surrounding us. All of them were men, wearing white shirts and leather boots. They looked nothing like the men we had previously encountered yesterday.
Penny stopped me behind his arm and Xander and Jonathan stopped as well. I looked at the three of them and held onto Penny's arm.
"What do we have here?" one of the men asked. He had an amused smirk on his face. The men eyed us. There had to be at least ten of them.
"You gotta be kidding," another one of them walked up to us. He looked us up and down. "Penny and Xander Gray. What a surprise to see you here like this."
Xander clutched the gun at his side and walked closer to the man. "We're here for Amira and Henry. Make it snappy," Xander held up his gun and smiled. "We're on a tight schedule."
The man snickered. He looked almost too young to be working here. "You know people are out to get your precious toy, right? Entering this place and getting passed us should be the least of your worries."
Penny snarled and let go of my hand to get in the man's face. "We're not here to argue with an unprofessional coward who has nothing better to do with his time than kiss my parent's asses," I could hear his voice begin to change. "So if I were you, I'd let me know where the hell they are before I beat the answer out of you."
"Is that a threat?"
"Only if you don't tell us where they are."
"That's rich because I'm not telling you."
Penny grabbed the man by his collar, making me gasp in surprise. Jonathan took a step forward in case anything were to happen.
"I said, where are they?"
The man's eyes went wide. Everyone around us came closer to the two of them, unaware if Penny was actually going to beat the answer out of him.
I saw the unsolicited man start to shake in Penny's grasp. He tried not to let Penny see the fear in his eyes, but it was too obvious.
He began to chuckle. "You don't get it, do you?" the man rhetorically asked. "They can see you. They already know you're here. They'll find you, whether you want them to or not. If I were you, I would be running away."
Penny let go of the man's shirt and stepped back. "We'll find them ourselves."
He grabbed my hand and walked toward the staircase, Xander and Jonathan following after us.
"You have a lot of nerve showing your face here, you know," the same boy told us. "We're not the ones out to get you. We just make sure unwanted guests don't make it through those doors."
