Xander walked up to us as soon as we got into my house. He glared at us, a smirk creeping its way into his face. "Ah, Romeo and Juliet are back!" He exclaimed, placing his hands behind his back.

"Your existence troubles me." Penny grabbed my hand, pulling me forward as he started to walk away, his figure blocking me from seeing Xander.

Xander unexpectedly grabbed onto Penny's shoulder, yanking him back as I lightly gasped. Xander inched his face closer to him, his eyes growing serious. If it weren't for his sarcastic remarks and childish behavior, I would have found him intimidating.

"Let go of me." Penny tried yanking his arm away from him, but Xander had refused to let him go.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, brother." Xander snapped.

"What do you want from me? Don't you think you've already made my life miserable enough?" Penny's voice cracked. I watched in astonishment. I grabbed onto Penny's hand tighter, using my right hand to grab his arm.

"'Miserable' is a very strong word, Penny," Xander retaliated, spitting out his name as if it were poison. "I don't want anything from you."

"If you don't want anything from me, then why are you here?" Penny slowed his words, his voice getting louder.

Xander moved even closer to his brother. He took in a sharp breath. "I am here for one reason, and one reason only,"

Penny and I watched him closely as he spoke. We waited for the words to come out of his mouth. Good or bad, I hadn't decided yet. By the look on Xander's face, I had only one assumption.

"There's something you should know, brother." Xander lowered his voice, blinking foggily as he looked down to Penny's torso. My eyes turned to Penny. His eyes were somewhat widened, his face was somewhat red. He didn't speak. He simply waited for Xander to continue.

"When you left, the whole town was terrified for your absence. Not only were they concerned about the well-being of innocent citizens, but we were also concerned for you as well," Xander explained, slowly letting go of Penny as he looked down to the floor. "After a while, people got curious for their good and took matters into their own hands."

Penny pulled me closer. I felt his body heat radiating off of him. Something was wrong, and Penny could tell. It was obvious. So could I.

"What do you mean, 'Took matters into their own hands?" Penny clenched his teeth. With every word he spoke, I felt his voice getting deeper and his chest beginning to rise. He knew something.

"They began a party in search for you," Xander spoke lightly. "Once they found out where you were and who you were with, they decide. They decide what happens to you, and those around you. Whoever you have interacted with ever since you left our little town."

Penny stepped forward. "To my remarks, there's no one that would care about me enough to bind all accommodations," Penny thought, looking to the floor. His face lifted as if a lightbulb had gone off in his head. He looked at Xander with fearful eyes. "It can't be."
