"What if we get on that one?"

"Beomgyu I'm not getting on a fucking carousel."

Yeojin and Beomgyu were currently at an amusement park. The air was only a bit chilly but it was definitely bearable. The sun being out really helped warm them up as well.

"Why not?! It's not that bad." Beomgyu whined, his feet stomping a bit.

"Beomgyu there's literally just kids there with a parent."

Beomgyu looked at Yeojin with puppy eyes, a pout on his lips.

Next thing they knew, they were both on horses in the carousel.

Making the most noise on the ride, Beomgyu cheered loudly while Yeojin sat on the horse right next to him.

Yeojin had to admit, the ride was fun and not as slow as she thought it would be and as a result, a smile was on her face as she laughed at the air that hit them on the ride.

"See! It's fun!" Beomgyu yelled over at Yeojin and she gave a shrug.

"I guess it is." She exclaimed back and Beomgyu smiled as he looked at her. She looked really pretty when she smiled and all Beomgyu could think about was how she smiled at Sunghoon.

His mood went down anytime he thought about Sunghoon and Yeojin and quite honestly, he thought it was only because he wanted him and Lucy to be like that. He thought.

To not bring the mood down, Beomgyu shook those ideas out of his head. All that mattered at that time was him and Yeojin having a fun time together as friends.

Soon enough, the ride ended and as Beomgyu and Yeojin walked to the exit, there was clear happiness in their faces.

"We should ride the boat next!" Yeojin happily exclaimed and Beomgyu nodded.

Yeojin cheered and grabbed a hold of his hand, failing to notice the small shock on Beomgyu's face.

Yeojin led them over to the line of the ride, eyes beaming as the sound of peoples cheerful screams filled the air.

"I've never seen you this excited for anything. Holy shit, you never smile this much." Beomgyu pointed out, now finally able to notice how Yeojin's expression was bright. He wasn't complaining, though. He enjoyed seeing her so happy.

"I'm pretty sure you know why I don't smile much when we're out with the others." Yeojin said, arms crossed and eyebrow raised. Beomgyu realized what she was hinting at and then he sheepishly rubbed his nape.

"Oops?"

Yeojin laughed once Beomgyu realized what she was talking about. "It's fine. Just how we roll."

"I don't annoy you, do I?" Beomgyu asked and Yeojin shrugged.

"I know you try to and I know I seem like I'm annoyed and I'm gonna be honest, sometimes I am, like the time you threw away the receipt with Sunghoon's number and when you ditched me for Lucy," Beomgyu winced when she brought up the memory of him leaving her. He truly did feel bad about it but there was nothing he could do.
