I Have A Crush On A Monster Boy

The battle begins

Gumi's P.O.V.

When Gumiya and I turned around, we saw a laughing Merli.
"Ahahaha. Oh what a splendid sight. Absolutely splendid. A monster boy with a human girl. It's absolutely hilarious. But, the time for silly things ends right now. Now that the sun has set, it's time to bring this world into complete darkness as my children claim their thrones. Come my children! Come!" Merli commanded as she spread out her arms.
Gumiya and I stood up right away and my ring molded into my Katana. I readied myself as a hoard of demons came out of the forest and lunged at me. I started to fight them off but when I did, Merli took Gumiya from behind and stood back in front of me, except farther away.
I tried to get through but couldn't. Then, I watched as Merli whispered something into Gumiya's ear as he struggled and then, he no longer struggled. Instead, he passed out and went limp.
My eyes went wide and my face scowled with anger as I sucked in a Sharp breath. My body began to tense up and shake.
Demons began to hold onto me and I then yelled out with anger,
"MEEEEEERLIIIIIII! GUMIIIIYAAAAAAAA! HANASE(LET ME GO)!!!!!!!!" Just then, my sword melted away and the silver mold flew into the air as droplets before falling back down as spikes impaling all the demons around me.
I just stood their looking at Merli with rage. My blood was boiling as I looked at her with rage and blood lust. My weapon turned back to it's normal Katana form and into my hand. When it did, I began running towards her.
Merli watched me with amusement as more and more Demons came in a never ending flow pulling me back farther away from Gumiya and Merli.
As I fought, I kept yelling at Merli.
" WHAT DID YOU DO TO GUMIYA!? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!!!!"
Merli dropped Gumiya's body onto the ground continued to watch me with amusement. She then formed her scepter as she began to speak over the noise. A smirk on her face.
"I merely weakened his human side by putting him to sleep. He's not dead, but, his demon is awakening. See." She then pointed towards Gumiya's body and there, green flames began to form around him and he began to change. He began to rise as fox ears began to form and wings sprouted from his back.
"Ahahaha! Rise my love! Rise!" Merli chanted.
"Iyaaaaaaa! GUMIYA!" I screeched with tears in my eyes as I saw him become overcome. Yet, all I can do was watch as I try to fight my way through this never ending stream of demons.
"GUUUUMIIIYAAAA! SOME ONE HELP!" I screamed. Just then, the demons surrounding me disappeared as I saw a flash of gold. Then, I saw Yohio in front of me smiling. He then kissed my forehead and said,
"Yo. Sorry I'm late. Onii-chan is here." He chucked as he caressed my cheek.
"Y-Yohio-san?" I asked startled as my face turned bright red.
"Baka! Don't go kissing her like that. Remember Gumiya called his dibs on her." Sonika scolded as she kicked him from the side.
"Hey! That hurts!" Yohio whined as he got up and focused on the demons in front of him.
" Damare. You should already know that Gumi and Gumiya like each other. So stop butting in between them!" Sonika scolded as she continued to shoot her set of demons.
"I know I know. Stop making a fuss about it. She was just so cute I couldn't resist. I was only trying to be a big brother. Unlike you who doesn't even kiss me like a big sister should do for her little brother." Yohio whined as he continued slashing out at the demons.
"Maybe if you weren't so weird then I'll actually act like your big sister. Now stop crying and protect Gumi." Sonika yelled.
"You don't have to tell me twice." Yohio lashed out at the enemy one last time before picking me up and jumping high into the air.
"Let's go. Gumiya-kun is waiting for you."
"What made you my Onii-chan? My real Onii-chan is cooler." I said bluntly.
"Ow. That hurt. You are very sadistic aren't you imouto(little sister)?"
"Sonika has hit you're head way too many times."
"Yup!" He said with pride.
"That's nothing to be proud of!" I said.
We were about to land a little closer towards Merli who was focused on watching Gumiya's demon awaken. We were trying to hurry up and land towards her because Gumiya's demon was starting to come out. when all of a sudden, a demon with wings attacked us. Yohio accidentally let go of me as he whipped at the demon in the air killing it.
"GUUUUUMI!" He yelled as he tried to catch me.
Before I hit then ground, Yuuma came out of no where and caught me.
"Daijoubu(are you alright)?" He asked.
"Hai. Arigatou." I said as he put me down. Yohio landed right next to me and began apologizing. I forgave him and we continued to fight. Yet, I felt myself slowing down despite how I don't have a scratch because of how my weapon has been protecting me. The demons are twice as powerful to what they usually are and it's exhausting. But, I refuse to give in. I have to fight. I'm so close. Just build up life energy.
I fought along side Yuuma,who had a black Katana that burned with black flames and it burned it's enemies, and Yohio with his golden whip. Then, I would see Sonika laughing with joy as she continued to blast away demons.
"Yuuma-san, where's the others? They're coming, oh, speak of the devil. There they are." Yuuma said as he looked up and saw a blue dome surround the perimeter of the lot. Then, I turned and saw a golden box surround Gumiya, slowing the transformation down and protecting him from Merli.
On the other side of dome was Aoki and Galaco. Merli saw Aoki and her face scrunched up with anger. She then ran towards the were Aoki was on the other side of the dome trying to keep the fight into one place so it won't effect the town. Merli began on banging the wall and yell at Aoki,
"ONEE-CHAN! Daikirai(I hate you)! SHINE(die)! SHINE SHINE SHINE!" Merli yelled as she continued to bang the walls. Aoki was struggling to keep up the barrier and I had to help her. Along with Galaco, she could only keep Gumiya contained for so long. Yet, more and more demons keep getting in my way. I need an opening but how?
Just then, Mizki, IA, and Tei came by side.
"We'll make a path for you. Go!" IA said. With that, I started running towards Merli, letting the blood lust and adrenaline take over as the others made a path for me.
As I reached Merli, she turned around quickly and dodged my attack. She smiled at me evilly and her eyes narrowed.
"Hehe. So you actually made it huh? I knew you were no ordinary human girl. You're a kyuuseishu. No wonder I hated you from the beginning. Now that you're here, I decided that now, I want to fight you personally, and kill you and dye you red with blood. It will be exceptionally delicious. Just like my revenge. Let's begin." Merli took her dark crystal staff and hit the bottom hard against the ground as everything vanished and now we were in the town as it was devoid of human life. It felt dead like the end of the world. It was cloudy and cold with falling snow yet, I wasn't fazed. Instead, I felt free. Free to fight to my full potential. My grip on my sword became more sure about this and the fear I felt earlier was gone. Now, I can fight without worry. I'll let it all out. With a firm and earnest voice I said,
"Hai. Let's begin."
