Louis' POV
I wasn't too keen on the idea of Darcy having a snake but I allowed it. If she could prove that she could take care of that then we would allow her to have a puppy. I sighed as I watched Darcy from her room interact with her snake. My daughter sure is strange. I thought leaving her alone with her snake.
I plopped down on the clinch next to Harry. He could see something was on my mind and wrapped his arm around me.
"What's wrong boo bear?" Harry asked.
"Nothing I'm just a little nervous about Darcy having a snake in the house that's all."
"She'll do fine with it." Harry said
"I hope you're right." I said with a sigh.
"When am I not right?"Harry asked.
"Well....." I started
"Hey!" Harry said.
"I'm just kidding. Anyways why don't we get everyone ready for bed. It's been a long day." I said. Harry nodded and then we got the kids ready for bed.****
It's been a few weeks since Darcy got her pet snake and she was actually doing pretty well with it. Harry and I couldn't believe it. She had been really good about taking care of it!
"So are we letting her get a puppy?" I asked Harry. The kids were playing outside while we discussed the puppy issue."
"She has proven to us that she can take care of a pet. Do you think it's a good idea?" I asked.
"Only if you are okay with it." Harry said.
"I'm okay with it. Darcy has shown us she can take responsibility for a pet. We will tell her tomorrow though." I said.
Harry nodded and then kissed me and then we went to get the kids ready for dinner.
