[Percy's POV]
Christmas morning, I came down the stairs from my dorm to the common room in Gryffindor tower. Under the tree, I see the presents Mum and Dad had sent for my brothers and me. However, I noticed an extra gift for each of us.
I opened the gifts from mum and dad–a brown sweater with a "P" and a new set of quills. I grab the mysterious gift and open it. A letter has been placed on top of two books, one on the history and laws spanning the different Ministries in the world and a muggle book on how not to take yourself so seriously. I opened the letter and read:
Percy,
Happy Christmas! I hope these gifts get to you and your siblings in time. You have talked about wanting to work for the Ministry since I've met you. I found this book, and it reminded me of you. Of course, I had to include the other one. Remember to take breaks from studying and worrying about classes. Not everyone gets a second chance at being young. Try to live a little.
Happy Christmas, You Muppet,
Cassia L.
P.S. Thank you for letting me know Fred and George opened that package.
She read my letter. She actually listens to me. Here I thought she only cared about Fred and George and the pranks the three of them plan. And the trouble they always seem to find themselves in. Maybe she deserves more credit than I give her.
Later while eating with the rest of the Gryffindors who stayed behind, Fred and George are talking about what they received from Cassia. She sent them some pranking devices or something. I didn't really understand.
"Cassia found out we opened the gift she left for Mum," Fred stated.
"Someone had to tell her. There's no way she could have known we opened while she's in France." George responded.
"Probably Ron."
George nodded in agreement.
"Come on, you two. You think she didn't already know you would break your promise and open it?" I asked them.
"Well, she could've at least given us the counter-spell. Our clothes are covered in that mess." Fred retorted.
I shake my head—no sense in reasoning with them. Cassia is one of their best friends. They should've known she would pull something like this.

[Cassia's POV]
Snow falling outside the window was the view I woke up to on Christmas morning. I was sharing a room with my childhood best friend, Fleur. Quietly, I tried to sneak out of our shared room, but I stumbled over my bag I left on the floor, causing me to tumble to the floor, waking Fleur.
"Cas, what time ees eet?" Fleur groggily asks.
"Does it matter? It's Christmas!" I squeal.
"Eet ees too early."
"But presents?"
"Non, see eef Ellie ees awake."
"D'accord." I sighed and went to find Ellie.
I knocked on her door before opening it. She was already up and waiting for Fleur and me.
"Joyeux Noël, Ellie!"
"Joyeux Noël, Cas!"
She jumped up and hugged me.
"Shh, Fleur is still asleep."
