"Hello Weasleys!" I smile stepping out of the green flames seeing the gaggle of redheads.
"Oh, Cassia, dear," Mrs. Weasley rushes over, grasping my hands, "have you seen Harry?"
"No, Mrs. Weasley. Is everything alright?"
"He seems to have gotten himself lost." Fred says from behind me, making me jump.
Fred and George laugh behind me while Ginny hugs around my waist. I returned her affection before turning on her brothers smacking them both in the back of the head.
"Having a laugh, are we?" I chuckled at them.
"At your expense, yeah," remarked Fred.
Before I could retort, a loud crashing sound came from the tea shop up the road. The front door bursts open, and out stumble Isla and Jacob. Followed by a couple of second-years who looked oddly familiar.
I hurry my way over to them, inhaling the stench of burnt sugar streaming from the shop. Fred and George not far behind.
"Isla, Jacob, are you okay?"
"Never better," Jacob said cheekily while straightening his clothes.
"What happened?" George asks worriedly, looking between Isla and Jacob.
"Those two prats fell into the cabinets lining the wall!" exclaimed Jacob waving his hands in the direction of the two second-year students.
That's when I recognized them.
Crabbe and Goyle
And they were covered in splattered sweets.
~~~
"Isla, Jacob, let's get you both cleaned up." I chuckled.
"We'll have to do it the muggle way." Isla reminded, "No underage magic outside school grounds."
"Stupid Ministry." muttered Jacob.
Grabbing Isla's arm, we start walking with Jacob trailing behind us still muttering about the stupidity of not allowing underage magic.
Mr. Weasley yells for Fred and George.
"See you later, Pip." Fred smiled.
"And you muppets will tell me more about the car kerfuffle later."
Fred and George run off in the opposite direction.
"Car kerfuffle?" Jacob questions.
"Dont't ask." I chuckle, "Now, I know someone who can help with this mess."
"Welcome to Twilfitt and Tattings where you'll find... Cassiopeia is that you?" Mr. Prince, the shop owner questions.
"Hello, Mr. Prince," I smiled, "I'm here to pick up the package for my mother and to ask you a favor."
"Ah yes, the clothing she requested I have right here." He grabs a large parcel and hands it to me.
"As for the favor, what can I do for you my little Sassafras?"
I rolled my eyes at the old nickname and laughed.
"It seems some second-years caused quite a commotion at the tea shop and now they are covered in sweets." I plead with puppy eyes, "And since we can't use magic outside school grounds yet, would you help clean my friends' clothing?"
I turn to point at Isla and Jacob still standing by the entrance too scared to get close to anything inside the shop.
"It would be my pleasure," He grins with a little mischief in his eye, "if you would return the favor when I need it, hmm?"
"And what would returning the favor entail, Uncle Benny?"
He just chuckles.
"Alright, I swear to return the favor, Uncle Benny."
"Excellent. Tell your friends to come to the back, and I will help them."
Isla and Jacob followed him to the back of the shop while I perused the small racks of clothing inside the shop when the shop bell dinged.
"Mr. Prince will be with you in a moment."
Looking at the entrance, I noticed the new patron is no one other than Mrs. Malfoy.
"Oh, Mrs. Malfoy, it's you."
"Hello dearie!" Narcissa smiles at me.
"Mr. Prince is in the back. I can get him for you."
"No rush. I actually want to speak with you."
"Oh, why is that, Mrs. Malfoy?"
"I need your assistance with Draco. He seems to be struggling in school."
"I could tutor him. Wouldn't want Slytherin to lose the house cup this year."
"Thank you dearie! Lucius has been so hard on him, especially since all he talks about is the Potter boy."
"If that is all, I will go get Mr. Prince."
~~~
Walking out of Twilfitt and Tattings, Isla and Jacob freshly cleaned and a new set of clothes courtesy of Uncle Benny.
"So, Sassafras? And Uncle Benny?" Jacob inquires, "Care to tell us anything about that?"
"Well, Mr. Prince is a family friend. And as for the nickname, if you ever utter it again or tell a single soul, I will tie you to the goalpost and belt you with bludgers until they have to send you to St. Mungo's."
Hands raised in the air, Jacob utters, "I won't say anything. I swear"
"Enough you two. We need to get to Flourish and Blotts for our school books." Isla chimes in, easing the tension.
Linking arms with Isla, all three of us make our way to Flourish and Blotts just in time to see it was chock-a-block.
"I forgot Gilderoy Lockhart was doing a signing today." Isla huffs.
"Sad you won't be close enough to drool over him?" Jacob jests.
"Haha very funny" Isla retorts.
"Let's go before it gets even more crowded." I say dragging them both along towards the shop.
