𝕸𝖊𝖑𝖎𝖓𝖔𝖊 𝖘𝖆𝖙 𝖔𝖓 𝖆 𝖇𝖊𝖆𝖈𝖍 𝖙𝖔𝖜𝖊𝖑 𝖎𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖌𝖗𝖆𝖘𝖘 𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖍 𝖍𝖊𝖗 𝖘𝖍𝖆𝖉𝖊𝖘 𝖔𝖓. She had been hanging around Rebekah, finding that the Original happened to be a lot of fun although the whole school and cheerleader thing was a tad annoying.

"Why don't you join?" Bekah questions, blocking Mel's view of the sun and nudging her side with her shoe.

"I'm quite alright lying here." Mel retorts, shooing the Original off but she hadn't budged. Instead, Rebekah bend down, grabbing a hold of the siphon, and pulling her upwards which resulted in a groan from the girl. "Why won't you let me be lazy."

"We could have fun."

"That is the literal opposite of fun. I prefer Criminal Minds with popcorn...or Dilaudid. Either is fine." Mel remarked, placing her shades back on and ignoring Rebekah's confused look.

The Original spotted the doppelganger approaching the two of them and put on a faux smile, "You! Goody."

"I was hoping we could talk."

"Pass." The siphoner scoffed, glaring harshly at the doppelganger who focused her gaze solely on the Original.

"About what? Stefan? Don't worry, I'm off him until he starts treating me better. In fact, you should probably take a page out of my book, if I'm being honest."

"Actually, I'd rather talk about this." Elena says, holding up a photo of runic symbols in a cave with Rebekah's name, "I'm curious why you and Klaus have spent a thousand years running from your father."

Mel lowers her sunglasses slightly to take a better look before looking over at Rebekah who had frozen slightly.

"Seems more like a family issue. Y'know her family. Go stick your nose somewhere else." Mel says harshly, glaring at Elena. Rebekah's face slightly pales at the mention of her father.

"I should get back to the girls." Rebekah says, dismissing Elena. "And Mel her sunbathing. Homecoming's right around the corner."

"Well then, maybe I'll ask Mikael when we wake him," Elena told the Original, a warning tone evident in her voice.

"Just when I think you couldn't possibly get stupider."

Rebekah turns on her heel, coming back to face Elena, and spat words harshly at her, "You're bluffing! You don't know where he is. No one does."

"So, then who's rotting in that old cemetery in Charlotte?" The doppelganger taunted the blonde.

"If you wake Mikael, we are all doomed!"

"So then, tell me." Elena insisted resulting in Mel shoving her away from the Original harshly.

"Not any of your fuckin business." The siphoner interrupts, her hand ripping the papers out of Elena's before she lit them on fire using her magic.

"Exactly. Why do you want to know?" Bekah adds, glad that Mel was on her side.

"Why don't you want me to wake him?"

"I need to get back to the girls," Bekah told Elena, taking Melinoe's hand and tugging them back over towards the Cheerleaders. The Original stayed silent for a few moments, processing everything Elena had told her till Mel spoke,
