Tropical Land
The trio approached the Mystery Coaster.
"Look, Shinichi! There're still spaces on the Mystery Coaster. Let's go!" -Ran
While Ran and Shinichi is busy looking at the coaster, Daitan noticed the kids sneaking in the ride
"Those kids want to sneak in for a free ride!" Daitan mumbled under her breath "Kids nowadays..."
She caught up to the duo then listened to the current conversation
"Talking about the amazing skills of Holmes... when he first met his assistant Watson, with only with a handshake he knew that Watson had been a military doctor. Just like this!" Shinichi grabbed the hand of the lady beside him
"Eh?" -the lady
"You're a well-trained gymnast, right?" Shinichi said while Daitan, who is behind him, is just looking at him in disbelief
"H-how did you know?" -the lady (Hitomi)
"Is he your friend, Hitomi?" -the lady with Hitomi
"It's because of the blisters on her hand! When a woman has a lot of blisters on her hand, then she must have been constantly gripping metal bars or something similar" -Shinichi
"But... you'd get blisters when you play tennis too!" -Ran
"Pfft! The truth is, when the wind blew up her skirt, he accidentally saw it. People who have to practice on parallel bars would have strange bruises on their thighs!" Daitan thoroughly explained while hitting Shinichi's back lightly
"You already knew from the start. That's just cheating!" -Ran
"How long are you going to hold her hand?" questioned Daitan
"Oh... right!" he immediately released her hands when he realized when a guy suddenly appeared
"Hey! You separated us from our friends!" he shouted at Shinichi while Daitan stepped forward to shield Shinichi away from him. It's like an instinct now
"Are you friends? If so... shall I give our places to you?" Shinichi held on to Daitan's shoulders to stop her
"No, it doesn't matter..." -Hitomi
"We shouldn't bother Aiko and Kishida-kun" when they glanced behind them, they saw them kissing so passionately
Shinichi started to daydream about him and Daitan kissing.
"Shinichi! Look, there's a place in front!" Daitan dragged him then Shinichi just continued his story about Holmes
"...then after, at that time, Holmes..."
"Move it! Move it! We were here first!" a guy in all black shouted
Shinichi still wanted to tell stories when Daitan stopped him
"Shinichi, you should stop. Ran is getting bored because you always blabber about Holmes" -Daitan
"Thank you, Daitan"
The coaster is starting to move forward.
"But... I was really looking forward to this" when they already reached the highest, Ran grabbed Shinichi's hand then clenched her eyes shut
'They look like a loving couple' Daitan thought from behind
She isn't really fazed by this kind of height so she's fine. The coaster went down and went straight to the tunnel when both Daitan and Shinichi felt something touch their face. When they reached for it they felt the same thing, water. They also heard other things.
