"Your heads are injured, what exactly happened?" asked the police officer

'Injured?' they both reached for their heads then flinched when they felt the pain

'Oh yeah! We're hit from behind by those men in black' they thought

When they looked to check their clothes, they are still shocked that they are small now.

"I'm protecting an injured young boy... No, it's a primary school student" the police officer is talking with someone on the phone

'Primary school? Well that makes sense since we shrunk back to our kid selves' Daitan thought

"Their head is wounded, maybe they are connected to some sort of criminal case..." when they looked at the kids, they are both gone now "Oh! Where did they go? What if those kids are connected to a criminal case? Quickly go and find them!

<Ran's place>

"I'm back!" Ran shouted

"You're back, Ran" she is greeted by her messy and drunk father

"Dad, honestly, how could you make this mess?! This is the reason why mom left you and also why you have no work" Ran complained

"I only select jobs that are worth doing! Also, what happened to that young, so-called detective friend of yours? Didn't you all go out together?" -Kogoro

"Up until leaving the amusement park, we were still together. But in the end... I wonder what they are doing right now"

<With Shinichi and Daitan>

Both of them are running as fast as their little legs could when Shinichi suddenly tripped because of his pants. Daitan stopped to wait for Shinichi.

"I've only run for a few minutes, and I'm already exhausted! How come you're still breathing steadily?!" Shinichi complained to Daitan

"I think you forgot that at this age, I'm already training" Daitan deadpanned at Shinichi

'Makes sense' he just thought

"But it still amuses me on how that single pill can make our body this small" -Daitan

"That is not some normal pill" -Shinichi

<Time skip>

Daitan and Shinichi arrived at their house. Shinichi is trying to open the door with Daitan help but it was no use.

"Damn! We can't even get to our own house" -Shinichi

"Get out of my way! I'm going to kick this gate down!" Daitan is going to kick the gate but an explosion happened beside them

"Professor Agasa!" Shinichi ran over to the hurt professor

"Who are yo- no, who are you both?"

"It's us, Shinichi and Daitan!" Shinichi pointed to himself and Daitan

"If you are a relative of them, his house is next door," Professor said while cleaning off his butt and then pointed at the house

"We ARE them!" he protested "If you don't believe me, I'll tell you all about yourself!"

"Agasa Hiroshi, 52 years old. You are a strange inventor. Although you claim to be a genius, all of your inventions are junk. And also, the mole on your butt has a long hair growing out of it!" -Daitan

"This surely is a secret that only Shinichi and Daitan know! Would those kids have blabbed all my secrets?" Agasa looks at them suspiciously

"It's not that, we are Shinichi and Daitan! We are forced to take a strange drug that made us shrink!" Shinichi is still not giving up
