"Well, if that's what Yoko-san says, then..." While they keep babbling around, Conan and Kana are already searching the place
"I get the feeling that we're still lacking something really important that could explain everything here..." Conan mumbled while they are searching
They kept searching for everything when Conan found something.
"Hey, Kana. Come here" Kana looked at where Conan is looking "An earring?!" Kana softly exclaimed. They looked at each other then Kana started to move.
Kana walked over to the inspector and tugged his blazer(??) "Hey, Inspector, under that sofa, we saw something shiny. I think it's a piece of jewelry" Kana pointed at the sofa
Inspector Megure walked over and then peaked under the sofa. There he found a golden earring "What's this?" he grabbed it with a handkerchief "An earring..." he stared at it for a while longer when Yoko-san saw it too
"That's Yuko-san's" -Yoko
"Yuko-san?" -Inspector Megure
"Yuko Ikezawa-san. She debuted the same time I did" -Yoko
"I heard that she was upset that Yoko got her role in a drama series" -Yamagishi
"Now I've got it!" Kogoro said "The murderer was Yuko Ikezawa! Arrest her!" he commanded the officers "Isn't that right, inspector?"
"We'll have to go to the station- No, let's have her come here for questioning!" -Inspector Megure
"You heard the inspector! Hurry!"- Kogoro
'Yuko Ikezawa did it! There's no doubt about it!' Kogoro proudly thought
'Judging from the scene of the crime, the murderer must be Yoko Okino!' Inspector Megure thought
"The manager's inexplicable action and the odd marks left behind in the room... All the pieces are here" Conan mumbled to Kana
"The question is how to put them together..." Kana also mumbled
Time skip
"You've got to be kidding me! The murder took place in Yoko's place. She's the one you should suspect" Yuko said when she got interrogated.
"Yuko-san..." Yoko mumbled
"I've never been here before. I'm innocent" - Yuko
"Then what was this doing here?!" Kogoro showed her the zip-lock bag with her earrings in it.
"I thought I lost that somewhere! I'm glad you found it!" - Yuko
"It doesn't stop with the earring. The superintendent also said that he's seen someone who looks like you!" -Kogoro
"Someone who looks like me? This is ridiculous. I'm borrowing your bathroom" -Yuko
"Hold it! I'm not done yet!" Kogoro exclaimed
"You never give up, do you?! Do you think I'm the murderer just because of an earring?! I'm really busy, you know!" Yuko screamed at Kogoro in frustration. She walked in front of Yoko then said, "Not nearly as busy as little Miss Popular Celebrity, though. But if the media gets wind of this, your image will take a nosedive! Maybe you'll as much work as I have!" she walked to the bathroom laughing
"How dare you threaten her!" Kogoro wanted to attack Yuko but Inspector Megure is preventing him. While the chaos is happening, the 2 kids noticed something
"They both look the same from behind. And how did she know..." Kana pointed out what she saw
They heard someone sigh behind them only to see Ran. She knelt then back and hugged Kana and Conan.
