Rose's P.O.V.

I know I'm falling, but I'm not even going to bother screaming. All that screaming will do for me is hurt my throat. It's not like Thor or Tony are going to hear me anyways. Even if they do, they won't get here fast enough to catch me before they hit the ground.

As the ground quickly approaches, I look up, only to see that Loki isn't looking over the edge anymore. Wow. He really has changed.

Man, I am so stupid! I'm the future goddess of Nature, am I right? So, should I not be able to control air? I mean, I know it's a long shot, but it's worth a try!

I throw my hands out in front of me, like Tony does when he's flying, and I squeeze my eyes shut, praying that this works. Sadly, I still feel like I'm falling.

"Come on! Work you stupid powers! Work!" I yell, hoping that triggers something.

All of a sudden, I stop suddenly. I slowly open my eyes, and I realize that my hair is brushing against the ground.
"Well, that's new." Of course, at saying that, I fall, smashing my nose on the ground.

"Of course. Just as I feel fine, I end up hurting myself." I grumble, rubbing my nose to try to make the throbbing pain go away.

"Rose! Are you down there?" I hear Cap yell from above. They must've gotten to their senses. Finally.

"Ya, I'll be right up." I call back, and try the hand thing again, and I feel myself slowly floating upwards. I finally reach the edge, with everyone's backs towards me, probably thinking I'm going to climb up the other way.

I clear my throat loudly, and everyone whips around, suprised. I just start walking to where I think the jet is, and everyone follows, as the jet takes off towards the Heli-Carrier.

As Loki is being taken to his cell, Natasha, Thor, Steve, Tony and I are all getting ready to watch Nick tell Loki what's going to happen in there. Bruce is in his lab.

The cameras start up, and we see Nick walking up to the control panel.

"In case it's unclear, you try to escape," he says as he pushes a button, "you so much as scratch that glass." the floor beneath the cell opens up to reveal a very long drop. "Thirty thousand feet." He yells over the loud wind. " Straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?" More buttons get pressed. "Ant," he gestures to Loki, before gesturing to the big red button, "boot."

Loki chuckles. "It really is an impressive cage. Not built, I think, for me."

"Built for something a lot stronger than you." Fury retorts.

"Oh, I've heard." replies Loki. "A mindless beast, make play he's still a man. How desperate are you? You call on such lost creatures to defend you!"

"How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace, an then you kill 'cause it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did."

"Oh, it burns you to have come so close, to have the Tesseract. To have power. Unlimited power, for what? A warm light for all mankind to share? And then to be reminded what real power is."

"Well, let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something." Nick leaves the room, and we watch on the screen as Loki walks up to the camera, as the camera turns off.

"Well, he really grows in you, doesn't he?" Bruce asks sarcastically.

"Loki's gonna drag this out." Says Captain Rogers, whom is slouching in his chair. "So. Thor, what's his play?"
