Rose's P.O.V.
After Steve, Natasha, -she's flying the plane- and I are changed into our gear, and we are already half way to our destination, Natasha calls me into the cockpit.
"Rose, I don't think it's a very good idea for you to go out there with Cap." She says, still staring out in front of her.
I'm completely surprised that she would say that. "What? Why not? Don't you think I've been trained enough? Do you not trust me?" I demand for answers, sounding like a 5 year old.
"Of course I do! But if this guy is who he says he is, that would make one heck of a family get together, don't you think?" I nod slowly in agreement, until I remember she can't see me.
"Ya, I guess so."
"We're here." She calls out to Cap, and I look just in time I see a man morphing into golden armour. Loki.
"Kneel before me." He commands the people he has trapped in a crowd by his clones.
"I said. Kneel!" He yells, and they do as he said.
"Is this not simpler? Is this not your natural state?" He cooes." It's the unspoken truth of humanity. You crave subjegation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a manner of a mad scramble for power. It's your identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you'll always kneel."
At this, an elderly man stands up, while every one else stays kneeling.
"Not to men like you." He says. You go, older, I guess wiser, dude......
A smirk tugs at the lips of Loki's mouth. "There are no men like me." He says proudly.
"There will always be men like you." The elder counters.
At this, Loki smiles once again. "Look to your elder, people. And let him be an example." He announces, pointing his sceptre at the elder as it starts to light up.
"He's going to shoot him! Cap, now!" Nat yells. All I can do is hope that this isn't really the Loki I once knew.
Just as the blast from the sceptre is fired, Cap lands in front of the elder, deflecting it with his shield, and the man quickly thanks him before running away. In return, the blast hits Loki, sending him tumbling backwards, onto the ground.
"You know, the last time I was in Germany, and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing." Slowly, people start to stand again, one by one.
"The soldier." Loki sneers, giving him a slight chuckle as he stands to his feet. "The man out of time."
" I'm not the one out of time." Nat brings the jet in closer, lowering a giant gun from the jet.
"Drop your weapon, and stand down." She commands over the radio.
Then, the action starts.
Loki shoots a blast at us,Nat dodges it, and Cap throws his shield at him. The shield rebounds back to him after hitting Loki, and Cap punches him in the jaw.
Loki looks outraged. He starts hitting Cap with his sceptre, and I decide I can't watch the rest when he sends Cap rolling on the ground. Multiple times.
Suddenly, AC/DC starts playing over the radio. "Agent Romanoff, did you miss me?" Tony finally decided to join the party.
He flys in, blasting Loki with his repulser rays, sending him on his knees. "Make your move, reindeer games." Nice nickname, Stark.
Loki surrenders, morphing back into some what casual clothes.
"Good move." He says, putting all this weapons back into his suit.
"Mr.Stark." Cap says, putting his shield on his arm, as Nat lands the plane.
"Captain." Tony acknowledges him.
But something doesn't feel right. From what I can remember with him, that was way too easy.
