Right when I thought a new chapter of me in the hospital would start, I fell into those warm arms. The gray mist was looking at us both blurred. And everything around me was blurred, until I saw his face. I should have taken the diary with me because it seems like the story does not end there.
An endless number of butterflies started flying in my stomach as he had given me the most beautiful gaze I'd ever seen in my life. His captivating and mysterious eyes got me staring at him for something that felt like eternity. He was holding me tight enough so I wouldn't fall and I was more thankful than I'd ever been in my life. He helped me get back on my feet and when I thought rain had completely ended, some drips started touching my hair. Then abundant rain started. My hands were still in between his and raindrops started wetting them to stick them together forever.
I was looking at him, he was looking at me, I came closer and...
'Lena... umbrella. Do you have one?'
HE KNOWS MY NAME? So he knows my name too, not just me his!
'Uhm.. Yes.. No, no, actually, I don't..'
'Good thing we met...we can share mine if you want to!'
The weather was beginning to be the same as winter, but the warmth I had inside my soul would not let me feel that.
'Lena... are you in the groupchat? You're new here... I could add you if you want.'
'Sure!'
And I gave him my phone number. The beginning of something new.
