"I've never gotten your name, but it's great to see you here." Luda says as she sets the table with plenty of food. Thomas and Bubba agreed, locking their gazes on your figure; they'd stumbled upon a fairytale.

"It's F/N L/N, it's a true honor to be with you today, even if it's only for a short time." You said, grinning from ear to ear and nodding your head as the old lady bombarded you with questions.

At the doorway, the brothers admired you with a hand on his right cheek. "She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." They would declare out of the blue if they could communicate.

When a grumpy, old man cursed them bitterly, their fantasies were cut short. "What are you fuckers doing standing in the fucking doorway? Move your fat asses aside!" They bolted, not wanting to be lectured again.

"Give them a break, Hoyt!"
"Whatever." He rolls his eyes in anger. You nervously sat down on your chair, fiddling with your fingers as you involuntarily tremble. "Anxious are we, darlin'?"

"Well... it's been a long time since I've seen a lively family." You said awkwardly, your gaze fixed on Thomas, who sat in front of you. "Are your parents not at home very often?" She inquired, and you froze in your seat.

Luda came to a conclusion after receiving no responses. "Oh, darlin', I'm so sorry for bringing up such a sensitive subject." She sighed. "N-no, everything's fine!" You forced a smile at her, but the brothers could tell it wasn't genuine.

"I see." She said, smiling afterward. "Go ahead and eat as much as you want, dearie!" She exclaimed as she and the others sat down. You scooped the meat from your plate with your spoon.

You had no idea why your family was staring at you, but you eventually slurped the food in your mouth. They were waiting for a response as you chewed slowly; there was something off about the taste; it was unlike any other meat you'd had before, but you guessed it was just an unknown animal.

When you opened your eyes, you noticed that everyone at the table was staring at you. Luda inquired, "How does it taste, dearie?" You smiled and snapped your head at her. "I'd call it informal scrumptious." You said with a smile.

"Thank you." She said quietly to you and turned to Hoyt which your ears did not hear. "She's wonderful." She  said as she handed it to him, who dipped his head and poked his food.

He muttered, "Yeah sure she is, she looks like a bitch." To which Luda slapped his shoulder hard, Hoyt trying to contain his rage. He whisper-yelled, "What was that for, mama?!"

"Don't talk to her like that!" She stomped his foot under the table, causing Hoyt to jump and hit his knee underneath the table. Luda waved it off with a genuine smile as you looked at them both.

You kept eating, savoring the flavor in your mouth, but Bubba and Thomas were looking at you nervously as you ate. They muttered and mumbled to each other. Afterwards, you finished eating and softly wiped the corners of your lips with a clean napkin. Of course, can't forget the manners.

"I see you've finished eating dear, would you like to stay for the night?"

Before returning your gaze to the old woman, you glanced at Thomas and Bubba, who both had hopeful expressions on their faces. "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'll have to decline for the time being; there's someone waiting for me at home." Your leg tapped quickly on the wooden floor.

You dipped your head as Thomas and Bubba whined to themselves. "That's fine, maybe next time? All right, Thomas, Bubba, escort her home!" "Oh, that won't be necessary!" The brothers don't take no for an answer when it comes to winning your heart. "I insist. At this type of weather, a woman should go home safely." She says, worry graced her words.
