Another disaster has struck. With a silent killer, how were you supposed to communicate? Michael used this opportunity to sneak up on you while you were deep in thought.
Brahms was alerted and grabbed your wrist, yanking you behind him. You snapped out of your reverie, but Brahms cut you off before you could say anything. "What brings you to my territory...?" He demanded, his voice deep but rough, rage boiling inside him, veins visible in his neck.
"How about we talk this out, Brahms? It's better than violence." You quickly queried, hopeful eyes on Michael. When he gave you a silent yes, you breathed a sigh of relief. You addressed Michael and said:
"I'm not sure why you're after me but could you at least give me a reason why you want to?" Your words were loud and clear and Michael nodded sternly to indicate that he agreed with you, however Brahms shook his head.
"He will not enter my house...!" Brahms' voice shouted, enraged by what you said. He was dissatisfied. What is your motivation for doing this?
Brahms pushed Michael out of the way, which surprised you and made you wonder if Michael was about to lose his cool.
"Brahms, this is the only way; he needs to explain why he's been following me all the way from here! I don't want you to fight; what if you get hurt or something?" You reasoned, not liking the current situation.
Brahms didn't try to stop Michael from entering his home as soon as he calmed down; oh how he hated to agree with you, but your excuse was eventually right in the first place, so he didn't try to stop him nor you.
You took a seat beside Brahms in the living room. All you wanted was an answer, so you straightened your posture and creased your lips into a deep frown. Despite your opposition to the silent killer, you demanded. "Tell me why you were following me."
He just stared at you, his eyes locked on yours. Because his eyes were obscured by shadows, you couldn't see them, but you knew he was wearing his infamous glare. That didn't sit well with you. You felt uneasy because of it.
"Oh, that's right. Here's a notepad and a pencil for you to write with." You said, and he aggressively grabbed them. You rose a brow and thought, 'Is it that difficult for someone to say their thanks? What a jerk.'
He was scribbling something you couldn't understand. However, as soon as he finished, he thrust the notepad in your face. You gently took the notepad from his grip and began reading:
"You must know my sister Laurie, where is she?" You had no idea who this "Laurie" girl was; in fact, you had never hung out with anyone with that name.
"Bold of you to assume I know a person named Laurie. I never hung out with her; all I talked to was a worker at a nearby store; I could help you with the search of your missing sister." Michael clenched his knife even tighter in response to your response. You should be familiar with her! Brahms, on the other hand, is wary of him right now and has grabbed you by the waist, causing you to stumble.
You looked at Brahms because you felt something curl around your waist, and you comforted him with a small smile and a gentle squeeze on his big hands.
You returned the notebook to Michael as he began to write, "I don't need help from an individual like you. When I get my hands on my sister, I'll target you next. Tell anyone, expect yourself to be dead at any moment." His comment caught you completely off guard, as you had not expected him to be so aggressive.
"You have no right to threaten me!" You leapt to your feet, but before you could react, he vanished into thin air, leaving you speechless and surrounded by a furious Brahms. You sighed as you regained your balance, unsure what to do about what had happened. You and Brahms decided it was in both of your best interests to rest.
You would meet him after a day or so, for reasons unknown to you. You were, after all, his next obsession. ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
