Y/n's POV

We're in history class and Jim, me, and Toby are sitting in the back as Strickler "the Changeling" is teaching us about war as I thought "What I'd do for him to not try and kill us once we expose his secret." Then Strickler looks at the class as I listen in on our history from this state as he says "War is constant chaos. The winner will be the one who controls the chaos, both his own and his enemy's." Then he presses a button and he changes the slide then he says "Napoleon's words show an unquenchable need for conquest. A man who could not be stopped." Then he presses the button again and the slide changes again and he says "So, what was the French general's downfall?" Nobody raises their hand or says the answer but I raise my hand and he says "Yes, Young Goddess?" Then I say "though I would love to answer this question I have a few of my own... might I ask this?" Then he says "Yes" then I say "everyone has secrets correct? What I would like to know is well..." then I smile emotionless at him and everyone gets nervous as I say "What's your secret Strickler... you seem so... on edge as you stand there giving off no emotion in your face... but I can tell your scared under the mask of that emotionless posture you have right now..." then he gives me a cold look and my emotionless smile gets wider as he says "Well, as much as I'd love to tell you I have a class to teach and well..." then I see he has a lovey dovey look on his face as he smiles at me as he says "...you should watch your persuasiveness Young Goddess... you might just turn me on... by that attitude of yours..." then I smirk as I say "Flirting with me will get you nowhere Strickler... you should know that..." then he calms down and says nonchalantly ignoring what I said "Did he stare down the barrel of a cannon?" Then again no one answers as Strickler says "Did he die from the deafening silence of a classroom?" Then everyone starts laughing as I smirk with little laughter and upset essence as I whisper "Look at that." Then Jim whispers upset by this "He's got the whole class eating out of his hand." Then Toby whispers as I see him doing something on his phone "His creepy troll hand." Then I whisper as I feel my anger growing inside me "we trusted him. He betrayed us." Then Jim whispers in an upset tone  "And worst of all, he hit on my mother." Then I whisper angrily and shocked at the same time "No way he hit on your mom? He hit on my father!" Then Jim looks at me for a minute and whispers "We should end him now." Then Toby looks at us both then whispers "Or you guys can ask him to divulge the whereabouts of the bridge that could release unspeakable evil? I don't know. Do you guys think Strickler knows you both are the Trollhunters?" Then I whisper "Bular called us 'Young Atlas and Young Goddess'." Then Jim whispers "Only Strickler calls us that. Of course he knows. But he doesn't know we're onto him." Then we hear the slide click and change then Strickler holds his hand towards the giant mosquito on the slide as he says "Malaria. The world's most powerful army felled by the bite of an insignificant insect." Then the school bell rings and everyone grabs their stuff and as Jim, me, and Toby go to get up and grab our stuff Strickler says "One last lesson. Who can tell me where Napoleon kept his armies?" Then he says "In his sleevies." Then Strickler laughs as everyone groans as I roll my eyes and grab my stuff then sit back down to grab the rest of my stuff then I notice Strickler walk over to us and say "Young Atlas, Young Goddess, if I could have a brief word before you leave." Then I stand up as the boys do then Strickler looks at Toby and says "Alone, please." Then Toby whispers to us "Not until after he divulges where the bridge is." Then Toby backs away from us and walks out of the room with his stuff and I hear Darcy say to me "Looks like someone has eyes for Jim." Then I hear Claire say on her way out the door "...I don't know, but I'm gonna find out." Then I thought "you don't want to find out mi amor it's dangerous then I snap out of my thoughts as I hear Jim say "Uh, is everything okay?" Then Strickler says "Actually, no." Then Strickler sits down on top of a desktop and says "Due to resent developments, I don't want things to be strange between us three." Then I say "Humph." Then Strickler says "your mother has invited me and Y/n's father over for dinner. We've graciously accepted." Then Jim looks down for a minute then looks back at Strickler as I gently grab Jim's hand behind me and I feel his finger interlock with mine as Strickler plays with his pen as he says "Will that make things awkward?" Then I say "Awkward? No, no, no." Then Jim says "It's just dinner. Right?" Then Strickler says "Splendid." Then he stands up and walks away as he says "Then I shall be seeing you both this evening." Then I glare at Strickler's back as I start to see a red glow I feel Jim squeeze my hand gently to comfort me and I do the same as I take a deep breath then I look at Jim as I see he's glaring at Strickler Then I squeeze his hand in reassurance then he looks at me and I nod then he nods as he breathes slowly as we grab our stuff and leave the classroom...
