I can't support waiting when I heard gunshots. I hurried outside, aiming two guns at the three men before me. I shoot quickly, stabbing one and the other just ran after loosing his gun.

I would've laughed in situations like these. But right now, all I could think of was Andreea. I run out the shop without a scratch and stare at the four bodies on the floor. Two are close, one is unconscious and the other is shot a few feet away. Andreea.

She did that. I started running to my car while calling Roman. He was my second in command and would go to the tech office. "Privet, chto sluchilos', vy, kazhetsya, zapykhalis' (hello, what's wrong, you seem out of breath)?"

I tell him what happened and start driving toward the house. I feel completely wrong of leaving her with them but I didn't know where to go and didn't have enough men.

"Ty postavil, na neye treker? (Did you place a tracker on her)?"

I sighed. "Konechno, who do you think I am? (Of course)". He chuckled. "Why do you care so much about her? She was ready to kill you." It was true.

But she only did it for money. For her brother and the two boys. She was ready to die for them. And I respected that. Unfortunately, Roman always reminded me to be careful with her.

I always ignored him. To day was the proof. She had made that I would stay inside and she went out. I fucking hate her for that.

I was in the tech room. I leaned against the desk and observed obsessively the screens. "She's being dragged to this building. She's bleeding and is half-conscious." I hitch my breath.

"Bleeding? Ona chertovski istekayet krov' yu? (She's fucking bleeding)?" The guy's eyes look away from mine. I slap the table, making the table move. I run out the room and get a meeting with Inessa, Roman and my brother-in-law, Andrei.

"Why do you even want to get her back?  She only stays silent and does nothing for the team."  I clenched my fists.  I didn't want to give Roman a reaction.  "She has.  But that is not your business."  He nods, curious.  I look away.

"I will only get a few men.  We know the location and just have to get her out of there."  They nod and Andrei speaks.  "And where is she?"

"At the research facility."

***

The research facility was where the Italian mafia was doing all shady stuff.  We knew they had one, but never knew where.  Maybe after I get her back, Roman and Andrei will be a little more enthusiastic.

After they all left, Inessa stopped me.  She wanted to talk to me.  We were sitting on her bed and she grabbed my hand.  Her eyes widened slightly when I didn't let go, instead tightening my hold.

"You care about her." She whispers with a small smile.  I didn't respond.  Whatever I answered, I would be lying.  I don't know what I feel.  I can't stop thinking about her.

We get along well most of the time and she smiles, talks to me.  And then, she ignores me, hates me.  But I can't hate her.  "Is there anything that would make you stop thinking about her?"

She was asking me because I needed to stop thinking.  Stop working.  But I couldn't.  There was only one thing that I could do to stop working was something I couldn't do.  Because I couldn't do this to Andreea.

I wanted to go to the two boys' house.  I want to know how they know her, why they know her, when they knew her, but there was something stopping me.  I get out the room and go downstairs, where there was the computers.
