I am in the meeting room with Inessa, Ivan and the guy named Louis. He doesn't have a Russian accent but he sure speaks well in it. But we all settled to English since not everyone spoke Russian or Romanian.
They all did speak Russian except me. Ivan didn't speak Romanian. "Pochemu my dolzhny vse menyat' iz-za neye(Why do we have to change everything because of her)?"
I frown and look at Inessa. "Este un nemernic. (He's an asshole.)". I nod, as Ivan stays perplexed. I knew that it wouldn't be perfect, that just proves my point. "Because she's a board member." Says Louis.
I turn to him and I'm not the only one. "First, we need to take care of all the people here. Verify their identity, training, role, presence, absence, etc."
I nod and we are each given files for different people here. "How many people are here?" Ivan looks at me. "45."
I nod and look back inside the files. There is everything. Age, date of birth, origins, hobbies, capabilities and more. I flip through the first one for every checkpoint.

There were multiple pages of just that and it troubled me to see how much information was in here. I looked over at Inessa who kept staring at the time.
I stared at her and as soon as the clock struck 3, she went to the bathroom. I shrugged it off but then excused myself 10 minutes after she did. She didn't even come back.
"You can't just expect to do whatever you want and get away with it. You are useless Inessa!" It was her husband. I had enough of listening and faced both of them. "Leave her alone. You can't just call her useless.
Inessa turned to me and she shook her head. I could see she wanted to break but she didn't. I grabbed her arm and led her to the bathroom. She finally started shaking when I hugged her.
"Why are you letting him treat you like this?"
Inessa just shrugged it off and I didn't push it. "Ok, calm down and we'll get back to work. You don't let him treat you like this. It's either that or we head to your room and you tell me everything.
She shook her head and washed her face. She actually did look back to normal. This was probably what she was used to. I walked with her and she entered one minute before me.
I entered and we continued.

We were finally finished and I went to Nikolai and Matthew's room. I found them with the other boy and there was a guy I didn't know. "Hello, you two." I said, kissing the top of their heads.
"Who's that?" The little guy I didn't know asked.
"That's my mom." Matthew said. "Mama, this is Andrew and-"
"Xavier."
Matthew nodded. "He said you saved his life." I nodded. "That's nice mama." Nikolai said. I smiled at him and looked through their drawers for something.
"Do you know where my little bottle is?"
Matthew looked at me. "Yea, I threw it because it was almost empty." I tried to calm down but quickly found an excuse. I needed to find it. I would eventually pass out.
