No one's pov
You squinted your eyes eyeing the moon shining right above your head while you stood guard on the borders of forest Dignon with your werewolf friend,Hobi.
It'd been six months since you left the orphanage you grew up in where you lived after your parents were killed leaving nothing but a diary you could open only after you turned 21.
You looked around to see your friends in your camp trying not to doze off in the dark which was deeper than the ocean on the east.You sighed and wished for at least one vampire to come your way so you could take the first step to satisfying your 20 year long hatred.You made up your mind to destroy every last one of them.They'd troubled the people of your village since years and even killed your own parents so you made sure to make them suffer the way you suffered.
It was your first week in the camp and yet not a vampire in sight.All the human teens of your camp had werewolf partners of their own since werewolves and vampires were known to be natural enemies and your village had made a truce with the King of the werewolves.
You looked up and saw Hobi perched on the tree,he looked down at you as you stared into his beautiful brown orbs while he smiled,the smile that took away all your pain and worries by a storm.How lucky you were to have him as your best friend.
Time flew away as the sun slowly started peeking up from above the mountains signaling your time to return back home.You stood up and gathered your belongings while waiting for Hobi to come down the tree.
You waited for your teacher to disperse you and started walking home when he instructed you to leave.You opened the door and fell on the bed with a thud,you could finally rest now. The day flew by with you plodding around until it was evening and you had to go back to camp and start training.
You went to get changed after having a warm shower to clear your mind.You were heading down the stairs when you heard Hobi knocking,"Come fast y/n,we gotta go" He yelled from outside the door as you yelled back saying you were coming.You opened the door and gave him a warm smile as he did the same and started heading over to camp once again.
You finished your part of training and headed to the north of the forest along with Hobi since that's where your shift was tonight. A few hours had passed with you on a lookout when Hobi spoke up, "I'll just visit the restroom,I'll be back". "Okay,come soon",you responded as he left. After a few minutes you heard the rustle of a bush and a man panting,you naturally thought it was Hobi and called out his name but there was no response.
You thought it was safe enough to go near and went ahead and tapped the shoulder of a man wearing a velvet jacket looking breathless.Little did you know that one tap on the shoulder would bring you to a whole new change in life and perspective.
