Y/n's pov
Hobi was injured,not seriously,but it broke my heart to see him in pain as he laid down on the hospital bed. I knew some medical care was what we needed right now so we came straight to the hospital after escaping from the forest.
"Ma'am,He is okay now,you can go visit him",The nurse came outside and told me as I rushed into the room where Hobi was kept."I'm glad you're okay",Was what he said as soon as I opened the door,I was angry on him for putting himself in danger.For me.
"You little bitch,what do you mean by you're glad I'm okay,you legit took the hit of the arrow",I spoke with a small pout as he chuckled and said,"Well,I couldn't just stay put or it would be you instead of me,and I wouldn't like that".
"Focusing on getting better,I'll be staying here till you're okay",I said while pouring a glass of orange juice for him,"You didn't have to do that but thank you Y/n"He replied taking a hold of the glass.

Taehyung's pov
I finally reached the castle after gathering the rest of the soldiers and fleeing from the forest. I was scared of what Dad would say cause I couldn't get any kind of an information on the missing vampires but he just let out a smile of delight and relief and came to hug me.
"Son,Jin told me what happened,I'm so glad you're safe,I can't bear to lose you too,not this time",He said with tears as I hugged him back and I said I was fine. I went back to my room to change my clothes into something more comfortable as the diary from my robe fell out on the floor with a thud.
This diary is pretty old,why was she carrying it? I was questioning myself as Jin hyung came in,"Spill the tea,brother",He said with a sly smirk as he sat on my bed."I don't have any tea hyung except the fact that I saw her and she tried to kill me but her werewolf friend kinda saved her"I said looking up with a sigh,"I'm not talking about that,Chan Bin told that to me already,he told me you got a diary back home which belonged to the girl,I didn't tell it to your father but you gotta tell it to me,whose diary is it and why bring it home?",He questioned me like he already knew the answer.
"The diary belongs to her,in the morning when I saw her she looked so energetic and normal,normal enough to be able to kill me,if she was human she couldn't have been able to even move cause it had been only 24 hours since I bit her,I needed answers as to how and why,I thought this diary would give me my first clue",I said all in a rush like I've been wanting to get it out since a long time.
"So you're playing the investigator prince huh,once you get to know something,tell me,you know I'm always as curious as you,probably more",He said and left as I just sat down on the bed where hyung just got up from and looked up at the roof.

Hobi's pov
Y/n played the role of taking care of me quite well,she stayed with me from the morning till the evening now and went home to freshen up,I was eating the dinner served by the nurse before Y/n came inside the room,almost busting down the door.
"Hobi,Do you have my diary?!",He asked me while panting like she just ran a 100 lap race,"Uhh no,why would it be with me?"I replied back raising my eyebrow,"Cause I can't find it",She said calmly but the agony was clear.
"You lost it?",I asked her with a bewildered tone cause she carried that diary EVERYWHERE."Yeah,but I can't find it,I searched the whole house but its missing,I can't lose the only memory of my parents".
I thought for a while as I asked her,"Did you take it to the forest when you came with me?","Yeah I did,you know I carry it everywhere"I asked as she slowly and gradually widened her eyes,"What if it fell down there",I asked her as I bit my lip.Shit she cursed under her breath as she dashed out the door.
"Wait,I'm coming too!",I yelled back as I ran out ignoring all the nurses screaming behind me. We reached the forest as we decided to start searching from the spot where I first shifted."Ugh,its gotta be here,how could I be so reckless",Y/n kept cursing herself under her breath as she suddenly stopped and I looked up,"What's wrong?",I asked as I stood up from the ground.She took out an arrow from the tree trunk and read a note attached to it."If you're looking for the diary,its with me,Taehyung,the prince",She read it out as I was stunned."That motherfucker,ain't no way he's gonna get away with stealing my diary and he's the fucking prince!",She let out a chain of swears and curses as I was worried cause I knew what she was going to say and do next."I'm going and getting it back".
And she said exactly what I didn't want to hear,"Y/n,are you fucking crazy,we're talking about the vampire prince,not the princes you read in fairy tales that would kiss you realizing you're his soulmate,he would kill you Y/n".I said everything like a train going past us crashing down everything in its way knowing she wouldn't take any of it.
"Hobi,you know how much that one diary means to me,its the only thing my parents decided to leave back for their daughter,I lived 20 years of my life only to find out the contents of what my parents wrote down for me,I don't know what's there in it but I'm NOT giving it up just cause a prince of a creature decided to steal MY diary,I'm going to their kingdom to get it".She said everything I had already made up my mind that I was going to hear,"Fine,but I'm coming with you".
"Huh,why the fuck would you be coming with me?",She said as I told her,"Y/n,if its YOUR decision to go then its MY decision to accompany you",I replied sternly as she sighed and mumbled a small Fine.

Taehyung finished freshening up and sat down on his chair by the window with the diary in his hands,and opened the diary which had never been opened for 2 decades, the diary written by Yn's parents who wanted her to know about everything she was,is and will be.
