I had to set it right,the imbalance created years ago,I had to fix it and if I'm gonna do that then I need to tell Taehyung about my feelings.

Y/n's pov

I shut the book that I waited for years to open,it happened,my worst nightmare came true but its not something I can avoid,its the truth that I'm supposed to embrace.

I rose from the bed as the guard saw me and came further,"Um,can I possibly see The Prince right now?"I asked him,the first time I by myself called for Taehyung.

"Forgive me mam,but I don't think we can allow you into The Prince's chambers",He said with a slight smile as I shook my head,"I don't want to go,I want him to come"I said as he looked rather shocked and went to inform another guard.

I bowed at him as he signaled me to take a seat,I closed my eyes and felt my life flash for a second before my eyes,my simple yet interesting life I've led so far,it felt like I was taking the deepest plunge and this time no one could stop me.

Everything felt calm and peaceful,all I longed for was to finally be in his arms,if he would let me that is.

The door opened revealing him as he walked briskly yet elegantly,"Um,you called for me Y/n?"He said as he turned around when the presence of another was felt,the presence of Seokjin.

"Yeah,I called",I said as my hand went behind scratching the scalp of my head as I was searching for ways to avoid this encounter but I had to.

"I uh wanted to thank you for everything,thankful for stealing my diary,keeping me here,and secretly thought not so discreetly taking care of me. I know this might sound crazy coming from me especially after all the not-so-many times I told you that I hated you,what did you do Kim Taehyung?"

I said as he looked down at me perplexed as I looked up at him in those serene eyes that searched for meaning as he wore the confusion so beautifully.

"I know I did a lot of things and I'm sorry but like,be specific of what I did",He said with no change in his expressions as I continued,"All those little words you said every night,they were beautiful".

"Wait,you weren't supposed to hear all that",He said with a voice laced with embarrassment as he blinked his eyes more times than he licked his lips,"I wouldn't have heard them if I was asleep but I listened to all of that and its your turn to listen now".

He slowly nodded as I began again,"My entire life I've hated your,no,our kind 'cause I didn't know and I'm sorry but now that I do,I'm trying to do the right thing,okay,I want you to brace yourself 'cause its going to get really crazy now,but every night I spent here I realized how beautiful it all was but everything ended when Hobi left and I felt colder than before but you know what helped me regain my warmth?You. Every little thing you did starting making me feel sparks I never felt before,feelings I never knew about,all because of you."

"Kim Taehyung,my mom told me to protect the ones that mean something to me,I couldn't protect Hobi so will you allow me to protect you?"

I raised my head that I put down since so long as I saw Taehyung's face that was blanker than a freshly bought canvas,"Huh?".

"Seriously,after all the heart and soul she put into that confession the only thing you can say is huh?",this time it wasn't me,it was Jin.

"She fucking confessed to you,I didn't raise you to be like this",Jin said as he covered his face and I looked back at Taehyung."You confessed?",was all he could say .

"Yes I did,want a written confirmation?",I said as his eyes finally showed what I wanted,surprise.

Taehyung's pov

My conscience froze as my world stood there with her arms crossed and her face showing a sense of unsatisfied relief like she hiked a mountain but with no satisfaction.

I felt a tap on my shoulder as I turned around and saw Jin showing me encouragement and then it snapped to me as to what I should be doing,I took a deep breath as I scratched my head,"I'm like so shoo-".

"Bro you're so old school",Jin said and pushed me by the back before I could turn around and before I could realize which direction I was falling in,I was on top of Y/n but not on the ground as I looked at her with her hair lightly brushing her face and she looked prettier than the roses on white mountain,my head moved further as our lips met and I melted faster than ice on a summer day in the tropics.

I lost count of the time we were in that position until Jin cleared his throat,"That's the way to do it and um ew romance",He said giggling but squealing like a brother would once the younger gets a girl.

"So,what now?",Y/n said as I smiled,"For now,lets just spend our first date watching the sunrise",I said and took her hand-in-hand as we went to my chambers.

Y/n's pov

We walked in to the room and to the window as we stood there waiting for the sun to show up and I scooted in closer to Taehyung like we had very little time and I wanted all of him,his warmth could still radiate no matter how far,as he looked below and gave a small forehead peck and I looked far into the hills as the sun started glowing golden.

The sun grew bigger as it was emerging from behind the hills,reminding me of Hobi as I looked up to the sky with the clouds dancing around like prisoners freed from the prison,he would be so proud of me right now.

I love you Hobi and I miss you,I looked up at Tae,"I love you",He said cupping my face,"I love you too Tae".
