elora soliel is a slender, petite half sun elf with white-blonde hair and warm-toned, pale skin and dark blue eyes reminiscent of a cloudless summer sky. she is one of the last descendants of the sun-elves of solacuria on her mothers side, whilst her father was a cartographer from the malbora continent who travelled and mapped the world before he found himself lost (and rescued) in the ithywe forest.

she was raised in ithywe by her mother, whilst her father eventually learned to come and go from the forest, one of the few humans allowed to do so. from her mother she learned to harness the magic in her blood, controlling fire and mending wounds, inheriting her healers heart. from her father she learned languages, diplomacy and curiosity, inheriting his scholars mind.

after losing her parents to a skirmish between sun and moon elves, elora inherited their home in the forest. she became more reclusive, healing fewer travellers and leaving the forest only when necessary. that is, until her meeting with the mercenary inarya. the two became unlikely friends, and inarya came to live in ithywe, bringing back food and cloth and coin to elora while she continued studying the divine from home.

one day, inarya returned to the cottage towing a wounded beckett claytone, the unwitting casualty of one of inarya's missions. she asked elora to heal him, knowing him to be the prince and heir to the xiamorian throne, and elora did so. neither of the women knew they'd been followed by the legendary tracker and right hand of the prince, cassius wolfram. when the guard finally revealed himself, and the four were united for the first time, it began a series of events cascading into war, love and the birth of a new era for both kingdoms of liyluna and xiamor.

elora soliel carries the burden of her lineage like a heavy chain on her shoulders. her mother, one of the few remaining sun elves, imbued in her the importance of their family line and generational secrets and spells that even the other remaining sun elves outside of ithywe had lost. her magic is as central to her as an arm or leg, and she uses her healing and sun powers to benefit and empower those around her.

elora trusts others implicitly, and her loyalty is equally her strength and weakness. even as a child her mother worried one day that elora would martyr herself before ever letting someone close to her come to harm. she fears loss of her loved ones above all, and will do anything in her power to protect them.

elora has trouble standing on her own two feet in a confrontation, unless she knows the person very well or is extreme in her convictions. she tends to try and please most parties, often as the expense of herself. however, if there is any risk to innocent parties or civilians, elora will not bend at all if she believes their wellbeing hangs in the balance.
