A few days ago, you got in a fatal accident that caused you to lose your memory. Everyone at SHIELD were worried about you, but most importantly, Maria Hill, your girlfriend. She was extremely devastated when she heard about it, even though you had no idea who she was. All she wanted was to make you remember again.

You were sat in your hospital bed as a woman walked in. She had black hair and gave out a strawberry scent. This was the first time she came to visit you after the accident. You looked at her confused. "Uh... Not to be rude or anything, but who are you?"

As those words tumbled out of your mouth, you immediately felt the guilt rushing in. Tears were clearly threatening to escape her eyes but she held them in. She took a deep breath before she sat down beside your bed and started, "I'm Maria Hill, and I work at SHIELD, and... you're my girl... friend..." she trailed off, whispering the last part.

"What was that? The last part?" You asked, having heard a little of it. "Oh, nothing," she sniffed.

"What is SHIELD?" You asked again after a quick minute of silence, still confused. "Oh, um, SHIELD is a special law enforcement, and a counter-terrorism agency," Maria smiled, still clearly hurt. You nodded in understanding. "So... you're not gonna arrest me or anything?" You looked back at her as she looked taken aback by your words.

"No... I would never..." she whispered. "Oh... I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, I-" you went to apologize, but got cut off instead.

"You never have to apologize, Y/n, it's not your fault you lost your memories... I know you might not know who I am, but I'll make sure that you'll gain them back and remember me again," Maria smiled sadly, which you returned. You weren't sure why, but you trusted her completely.

After you got out of the hospital, Maria offered you to stay with her in her apartment. While you protested for days, SHIELD persuaded you into living with her.

"Why do I feel like I've been here before..." you mumbled as you walked into Maria's apartment, trying to put the pieces together.

You sat on the couch as Maria went to make your favorite dish: Lasagna. You loved lasagna, especially those that Maria makes. She brought it over to you as you took in the delicious scent. "Eat, you'll love it," she smiled, staring at you the entire time. "Thank you," you blushed and planted a small kiss on her cheek. You just had a feeling you'd never leave this woman, ever.
