Summary: in which you come out to Yelena, your best friend, as bi, and she does the same, as aroace

(a/n: I know I said there won't be any Yelena in the description but... I change my mind, I'm adding Yelena in this, but there will be no romantic relationships with her. Also, let me know if you want me to do more of those coming out imagines cause I'd love to write more! :) okay enjoy!)

You and Yelena were sat in your favorite coffee shop in town, each of you with a cup of coffee in front of you. Yelena cleared her throat. "So, Y/n Y/l/n, what are we doing here? At eight in the morning? There better be a good explanation for this or I'm going home," Yelena joked in her thick Russian accent as she gestured to the crowded coffee shop.

"I have something important to tell you." You started as your heart raced. You picked up a rubber band that was on your table and started fidgeting with it to calm your nerves. Yelena said not a single word so you continued. "I've taken a lot of time to think about this, and I think I just wanna be true to myself now..." you looked up at Yelena who nodded for you to continue.

"I love both boys and girls," you blurted out. "So... you're... bisexual?" Yelena questioned. You nodded your head frantically as she smiled. "Sweetie, the closet was made out of glass," she chuckled.

"Wait... y-you know?!" You squealed slightly as she nodded.

"You won't unfriend me... right?" You asked her again after a minute of silence. "Of course not, I'm proud of you!" She smiled.

The two of you just sat there smiling and looking down. Now, it was Yelena's turn to get nervous.

"Actually, Y/n, I do have something to tell you too," she spoke. When you said nothing, she continued, "Some people like girls, some like boys, some like both," she gestured at you for the last part.

"Well... there are some people who like none... I mean, there are some people who aren't sexually attracted to any gender..." she trailed off, looking at you with her hopeful eyes.

"So... you're... aroace?" You asked her, the same way she did with you earlier on. "I guess so," she nodded.

"I'm so proud of you too, truly," you smiled as you stood up to hug your best friend. Now that the both of you were out of your closets, you feel more relaxed.
