Valkyrie - Crush

Ever since you were born, you lived in Asgard your entire life. You're friends with Valkyrie, and spent a lot of time with her and fighting alongside her. However, your feelings towards her increased. You always wanted to confess to her, but you were always shy to do so.

You sighed while looking out of the windows of the dining room as Val came up to you. "Whatcha lookin' at?" She asked. Those words alone made your heart flutter. "Oh, just enjoying the view, y'know," you smiled at her. In reality, you knew the view was nothing but Val herself. You spent a good minute staring at her gorgeous side profile before she caught you.

"So, today's peaceful, huh?" She walked over to the dining table and sat down in her chair. You nodded whilst you followed, plopping down in the chair beside her. "What do you wanna do?" She smiled. You didn't answer immediately, eyes focusing on the lips you wanted to kiss most.

"Oh, uh... I don't know, what do you wanna do?" You asked her instead. "Hmm... prank the boys?" She smirked, referring to Thor and Loki. Upon hearing 'pranks', you nodded excitedly and stood up, rushing away to your room, with a laughing Val trailing behind you.

The two of you actually got to trick Thor successfully, but being the God of Mischief he is, Loki saw it coming. You groaned as Loki and Val laughed at your unsuccessful attempt.

You, Thor and Loki also spent a lot of time together. The three of you occasionally found yourselves in the hidden stronghold gossiping.

"So, Y/n, when are you going to confess your undying love for Valkyrie?" Loki started. "What love? Me? Love Valkyrie? No way!" You were flustered by that question, knowing very well that you were in fact in love with her.

"Come on now, you think we all didn't notice? The way you look at her, the way you blush when she's talking, when she's around... you can't trick the God of Mischief, right, Thor?" He turned to Thor, who nodded, smiling along.

"Very right brother, I've never seen Y/n as happy as when she's with Valkyrie, she stares at her and smiles, and has this heart eyes when she looks at her," Thor made little heart shapes with his hands. "Alright, first of all, I am NOT in love with her, and second of all, I am just her friend, and the feeling's mutual," you looked up, arms crossed. "Sure, whatever you say Y/n," Thor winked twice as you waved him off.

During dinner, you were sat across from Val. With your food in front of you, all you could focus on was her while Thor and Loki were giggling on the side. After dinner, you and Val went over to the mountains, where you spent most of your time together.

You sat quietly with her, until you decided to break the silence. "Val, I have something to tell you," your body started to shake from fear. "What is it?" Val looked over to you, placing a hand on your arm to comfort you. You smiled up at her.

"Okay, I kind of have to thank Thor and Loki for this one since they encouraged me to do this..." You took a deep breath as Val nodded for you to continue.

"IminlovewithyoubutIwastooshytoconfesstoyouearlier," you said under one breath. "What? Slow down," Val giggled, which made your heart flutter once again.

You took another deep breath. "I'm in love with you but I was too shy to confess to you earlier...?" It came out more like a question. Val just smiled, "I'm glad you said that, because I'm in love with you too."
