Your P.o.V
Trevor drives us back to the dirt farm. The younger kids and Lucky sit in the back of the car, talking quietly. Lucky leans over and whispers in my ear when everyone else is distracted. "I saw how you looked at each other in there. And how you held each other." She pulls away and my face burns. It's not like anything is going on between Trevor and I, we're just close and comfortable with each other. I mean yes, he's very attractive and yes I think he's got a great personality but I don't like him. Why am I getting so defensive?
We soon arrive at the farm and the kids run into the house before us. Lucky gets out and waits for Trevor and I to get out. Then we run inside to see Callie panting and growling slightly while sitting on the armchair. "What's happening right now?"
"Mom?" Phoebe calls about but gets no reply. Lucky asks if she's ok. Podcast and Phoebe walk closer.
Just as Trevor calls to his mom, a small machine on the table starts up, whirring. Trevor grabs it when Callie suddenly roars at Podcast who's kneeling next to her. Oh sweet fuck, this is not good. Callie starts stoking the poor boy. "Are you the Keymaster?"
"Um, I don't know." Oh I don't think that's the right answer but it doesn't matter right now. Phoebe tries to get Callie off but she's turns and growls at her. The little machine crackles and whirrs more and we jump at it.
The house shakes, shit here we go again. Trevor holds onto my hand before we see his mom running and jumping out the window. We chase her before stopping and watching her run towards the mountain. Phoebe goes outside. "What the hell is going on?" Lucky asks. Looking at Trevor, I can tell he's trying to not get upset. I feel bad for him, his mom got possessed and ran away.
We go out to the farm and see Phoebe on the floor, digging the dirt. Just as we reach the girl, I remember Trevors hand. The older girl next to me nudges me and gestures to our hands. I pull away quickly, noticing Trevor frown before standing closer to his sister. "What is all this?" Podcast asks.
"This isn't a farm. It's a trap."
Holy shit.

Phoebe tells us about the secret basement near the barn as she leads us to it. The fire pole doesn't look clean but it's the only way down. Wait how do we get out? Phoebe slides down first, then Podcast, then Lucky and Trevor next. He falls when he reaches the bottom and I laugh at him. Then I realise it's my turn and I hold the pole nervously. It moves slightly, I really don't want to go down it. Trevor looks up, seeing my reluctance. "I'll catch you if you fall." He puts his arms out, smiling at me. You stupid boy, don't do that.
"What if you don't?" He shrugs and continues to smile up at me. "Shit, here goes nothing." I slide down the pole and as I near the bottom I feel arms around my waist, slowing me down.
I put my legs on the floor and stare at the tall boy. "See, told you I'd catch you." I will wipe that smirk of your face mister-
"Hey lovebirds, we have ghosts to catch, you can pine later." Podcast you are no longer my favourite. We let go of each other, our faces burning. Grabbing the ghostbuster jumpsuits, we go to different areas to change. None of the suits have name badges so I guess we'll add them later.
As we change, I see Trevor looking over, although below my face. Then I realise I'm stood in my bra. I smirk at him and click my fingers in his face, catching him off guard. "What?"
He turns around faster than lightning. "Nothing." Nothing my ass. We finish getting the suits on and I feel powerful as hell. We rush over to the model of the house on a table. Phoebe presses a button and it lights up. This is so cool, I would be way more excited if Trevor and Phoebe's mom weren't possessed and we were about to fight a ghost.
"This is what he's been working on all those years."
"Building this model?" I smack Trevor over the head. Does he not pay any attention? Lucky joins in too.
"The detail is amazing." Phoebe just shakes her head at them.
"No, he came here to finish what the original Ghostbusters started." The other two start to catch on.
"To trap Gozer..." Lucky starts.
"Out in that dirt field." I nod along.
"Exactly." The proud smile on dirt boys face is cute.
Phoebe carries on explaining. "These big silos act as a capacitor."
Clearly it's a big word for Trevor as he asks, "what's a capacitor?"
"Would it kill you to read?"
"Would it kill you to just tell me?" These two are adorable together. They would hate it if I said it though. Phoebe sighs and continues.
"Once activated, these towers can hold a charge for one moment. But in that one moment, they can power hundreds of traps." Now that's a lot of power. How do we get Gozer in a dirt farm?
"So how do we get Gozer into the field?" That's what I'm thinking. Great minds think a like.
"Gozer's protected by two evil spirits." Gozer got bitches, damn.
"The Keymaster and the Gatekeeper." Now that sounds like some sexual innuendo. Surely they weren't named that way for what I think it it's for.
"She needs both of them. No Gatekeeper, no Gozer." This is starting to sound really complicated.
"First these spirits must possess two human souls." Please don't tell me this is going where I think it's going. Please let me just be dirty minded...
"Like Mom." I don't think he's going to want to hear this.
"So they can unite... formally." Aaaand I was right. It's a metaphor for sex. Podcast chuckles and I try not to laugh at the others. Lucky and Trevor look at us confused. Oh god.
"What are we talking about?" Podcast answers for me.
"We're thinking at least third base." Lucky looks at me and we smile, nodding. I raise my hand and she high-fives me. Seeing Trevor next to me, he looks pissed but it's kind of funny.
"Go, Mom."
After discussing what we do next, we decide that getting the Ecto-1 is the first thing to do.

Everyone around us is running around, panicking about the ghost invasion. We run into the police station, hoping to get all of the ghostbusting kit back. Lucky points Trevor and I in the direction of where the Ecto-1 should be. Running around the station takes awhile before we find it.
"There she is." I jog over to see how to get the car down from being suspended in the air. Trevor looks over the car to make sure it's still intact.
Eventually we get it down and the kids run in with everything we need on a rack with wheels. Everyone stuff what we have in the Cadillac, apart from some stuff that Lucky is taking to the farm. When everything is loaded, we get into the cars. Looking over to Lucky, I ask if she's ready.
"I'll be waiting." Soon we drive off, heading to the mountain.
The kids in the back are quiet for a while. Almost too quiet. I turn in my seat, seeing Podcast smiling and looking between Trevor and I, then he writes something down on a notepad he found. "Ok, what are you looking at?" Phoebe goes to tell me but Podcast shushes her. This is weird, what are they doing? Trevor glances back at them.
"What are you writing about?" This time Podcast doesn't stop the girl.
"He's writing a story about two teenagers that are in love but won't admit it to each other. I think it's supposed to be based off of you two." Oh. Wait-
"We're not in love, people can be friends y'know." I agree with Trevor, although a part of me is curious. I mean, they aren't the first to think this, so why do people just assume? Yes we're affectionate but... ok maybe I see from that perspective. Otherwise I don't get it. Just two very good friends.
Zoning back into reality, I realise we're at our destination.
