"So tell me something I don't know about you." Ms. West stated as she poured each of us a glass of wine

I took a sip from my glass and then shrugged "I mean there's not really that much to know I'm pretty boring."

"I doubt that." Ms. West replied glancing up at me as she took a sip of her wine

"I mean I like to read, skateboard, and um," I paused my brain instantly regretting the direction it had headed "never mind."

"What we're you going to say?" She questioned giving me a strange look

I shook my head "Nothing."

"I really want to know what you were going to say, can't you please tell me." She pleaded looking over at me with puppy dog eyes

I shook my head "No, and besides, you never tell me when I ask what you were going to say."

"I'll owe you one time where I have to tell you no matter what if you tell me what you were going to say." She countered with a smirk

Damn that's a good offer, but is it really worth it?

I shifted uncomfortably as I felt my palms beginning to sweat "I don't know."

"Please tell me." She pleaded in a cute voice

I could now feel the heat rising to my cheeks as my brain went a million miles an hour.

~4 Years Ago~

"Awe c'mon Harper, please tell me!" Luna pleaded as I looked through my closet for a proper outfit

I rolled my eyes stopping for a second to give her a pointed look "I told you, it's a secret Luna."

"But Harper this is literally the first date you've ever been on and I don't even know their name!" She exclaimed crossing her arms over her chest

"Ugh, fine!" I whined turning to face her with a serious look "If I tell you it has to stay between us."

"Of course Harper, who would I even tell?" She questioned causing me to laugh

"You got me there I guess." I nodded as I awkwardly twiddled my thumbs "So um, my date is actually with um, a girl."

"Oooo my bestfriend is going out with a girl tonight," Luna exclaimed with a smirk "and what's the lucky ladies name?"

"Talia." I blushed as I reached for a dress

~Present~

"Harper?" Ms. West called waving her hand at me to get my attention

I coughed awkwardly and took a sip of my wine before speaking "Sorry I zoned out for a second there."

"No worries, well I was for a moment but as long as you're okay I'm okay." She smiled

She called me Harper, that was a first.

"Well it's a good thing that I'm okay then I guess." I smiled

"So what were you going to say earlier?" She questioned with a devilish grin

I rolled my eyes looking down at the table "It's not really the most work appropriate or professional fun fact, it just popped into my head and I have no filter so it just kind of almost slipped out I guess."

"The suspense is killing me." She joked

I let out a shaky laugh "Me too."

"Whatever it is I promise it's okay to share it, we're off the clock right now anyways." She stated calmly
