After Sam's comment I had literally felt overwhelmed to the point that my vision was getting spotty. Everything around me seemed to echo even more than what was normally caused by the metal walls. The last thing I remember was Sam's evil grin, her eyes narrowed on me and then a brief glimpse of the ceiling before complete and utter darkness surrounded me.
Next thing I knew I woke up in the comfort of a twin bed with my leg half off the side in a pitch black room. As I moved to sit up, my head instantly stung and my ears started ringing. The light overhead flipped on nearly blinding me and only intensifying my headache to an excruciating level.
"Fuck." I mumbled out shielding my eyes as I sat up on the edge of the bed
Looking out from under my hand that was my only defense against the brightness shining down, I made out the white walls of the room. I noticed a black dresser in one corner and a door opposite my bed. I stood, my legs shaking as I reached for the handle to find it locked. I groaned and turned moving my hand as I adjusted to the light. I spotted another door to the right of my bed and walked over turning the handle and opening it to find a small bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower.
"Where the fuck am I?" I whispered to myself
I checked all of my pockets and the bed and couldn't find my phone anywhere.
I can only imagine how worried Luna must be considering that both me AND Aurora, well Sam I guess, are missing.
I wandered back out to the room and went over to the dresser pulling the top drawer open and finding neatly folded rows of black bras and white underwear. I slammed it shut and opened the one below to find just black shirts, then the next to find grey sweat pants, and then the last to find just white socks. Everything seemed like carbon copies and it was almost eerie combined with the white walls and iridescent lighting.
For quite awhile I just went back to the bed and sat there trying to sort through everything in my head. I had come to the realization that I was most likely in the dorms Parker had previously mentioned. After a bit of sulking I decided I'd be better off showering and changing than staying in my current clothes that were quite uncomfortable considering it was dress pants and a button up shirt. I grabbed clothes from the dresser and then went into the bathroom setting the clothes on the counter next to the sink before looking up and literally scaring myself. I had a giant reddish purple mark on my head and as I went to touch it I felt a sharp pain and flinched back.
Fuck today sucks.
I sighed and spun around to the shower turning it on and adjusting it before getting undressed and then getting in and letting the hot water wash away the stress of yesterday. I used the shampoo and conditioner on the shelf before turning off the water and getting out and grabbing the white towel off the hook. After drying off I got dressed and then grabbed the dirty clothes and threw them in the clothes bin in the corner. Looking in the mirror I realized how tangled my hair now was and searched the cabinet until I found a hair brush and hair tie. I put my hair up into a messy bun and then went back out to the main room and sighed collapsing back on the bed.
How long can they possibly keep me in here with no food or water?
It felt like hours before I finally heard the click of the lock and then squeak of the door opening. One of the guards I had seen outside Parker's apartment came in holding a bag of McDonald's and a drink tray with a McDonald's cup and three water bottles.
"Is she seriously not going to come talk to me?" I questioned as I sat up
He set the bag and tray down on the dresser and then left without even looking at me. The door slammed shut after him and I sighed as I went over to get my food. I opened the bag and found a ten piece nugget, a large fry, and an apple pie.
Well at least I'm not getting starved anymore I guess.
~3 Days Later~
Time went by so slowly that I swear to god I could see the paint on the walls aging or some shit. I mean don't get me wrong I had been fed three square meals a day and I had clean clothes and everything, but the boredom level was through the roof! I mean I had literally devolved to sit ups and push-ups at one point just to simply pass the time and I hate both! I could've sworn I would literally go crazy if I had to spend another second in that room and then the seconds just kept going. At the prime of my boredom I had taken a tee shirt and laid it out on the floor and had all the socks tied in knots to throw and see if I made it onto the shirt. As I went to shoot another I heard the door click and I sat up curious why they'd be back so soon after delivering my dinner I had just finished. The door swung open and Parker walked in looking as fine as ever in her freshly pressed slim fitting blue suit. Her hair was pinned up, the free strands cascading waves down around her shoulders. She looked stunning and was a sight for sore eyes with how long it had been since seeing anything besides the guards and these four walls.
She let the door close behind herself and smiled weakly at me "Hi Harper."
Despite the overwhelming relief I felt to see her I felt a million other emotions hitting me all at once. My stomach was in knots and I could feel my heart beating out of my chest as I looked her over. I took a deep breathe trying to compose myself as I closed my eyes for a second before looking back up at her.
"Ms. West." I stated crossing my arms over my chest
