Ms. West had instructed me to sit tight in the seating area of her office while she prepared a few things and I was admittedly growing quite bored from the long wait. I was currently sitting upside down with my legs up above the top of the couch scrolling through my socials and god was everyone predictable.
Oooo look at my basic breakfast, I'm rich look at my boat, I'm not single look at how cute me and my girlfriend are! Okay... maybe I'm just a bit envious of the last one.
I grumbled to myself as I turned my phone off and tossed it beside myself. Call me a pessimist or a hater or a critic or whatever the hell you want but I hate the plastic synthetic world of social media.
Don't worry I'm aware of the irony.
"Seems like you've made yourself at home." Her voice called out from the doorway causing me to hearing do a flip off the couch as I landed on my ass
She let out a low laugh as I clumsily stood stuttered out "Y-you're back."
"Yep, miss me?" She questioned with a wink as she walked towards me with a sexy swing in her hip
I shrugged "I mean I guess a little but that's just because I was dead bored."
"I think that's a half lie," She stated giving me a serious look "but I'll let it slide since I'm supposed to be making something or another up to you, still not quite sure what I did wrong though."
"You literally forced me to come here in my pajamas on my day off with a hangover first thing in the morning against my will with no warning." I stated giving her as much of a stern look as I could muster up while looking at her
She shrugged "I think that's a bit dramatic I would hardly say it was against your will. Jack didn't even come to your door he waited for you to come to him."
"You're not off to a great start in the whole making it up to me thing." I grumbled crossing my arms over my chest
She waved her hand "Just follow me and I'll show you the surprise."
I followed after to her keeping my arms crossed in protest "Words are important too."
She gave me a strange look for a mere second before shaking her head "Whatever just come on."
"You're not being very nice." I stated as we got into the elevator
She rolled her eyes "And you're being very childish."
"Rude." I grumbled
"Just please calm down and let me show you the surprise. If it doesn't make up for it then you can be as mad as you want." She stated before clicking the 60th floor button
I must've looked absolutely stunned "What?"
"Just wait." She sighed
Ding!
The doors opened to a small area where two men stood guarding a set of double doors.
"Hello Ms. West." One said nodding in her direction
"Hello Johnathon." She replied with a nod before stepping out and opening the door on the right
Both guards stared me down as I followed closely behind her, too focused on everything else to notice where we were until she shut the door.
"What the fuck." I mumbled out as I looked around the space
There was a pool and hot tub on our left, a kitchen right ahead with a small table, a sort of living room in the right far corner and a bed on our right.
