Chapter 9

The moon was already out when they arrived at the villa. Cale woke up the children who were sleeping and went out of the carriage.

They entered the Villa and everyone was ready.

"Let's go. We need to hurry." Alexina told Eruhaben and gave the coordinates. 2 dragons teleported everyone. Rosalyn, Lock, The Molan's, Choi Han, the kittens and Cale's family.

Cale looked at the massive gate that was covered with thorns and Roses.

"That's our House!!" Alaric said while pointing to the gate. The vines that were covering started to loosen and the gate started to open.

The twins started to run so Raon, On, and Hong, who made friends with them when they were in Cale's room, chased after them.

"Cage, help me dress up. And you will be going with me." Alexina informed Cage that was walking beside her.

"Do I really need to? Like I was already an ex-communicated priestess." Cage complained to her. And Alexina laughed.

"You're telling me that? If the God of Death didn't take care of you, you won't hear him anymore. That only means that he still considers you as his priestess." Alexina mentioned and Cage stopped.

"Really? I thought all of those who are not priests or priestesses can still hear him." Cage said since that's what the rumors say.

"False. I guess from the perspective of the church you're not a priestess anymore but for him, you are still a priestess. It sucks doesn't it?" Alexina pointed to the sky. Cage groaned before nodding her head.

"Fine, I'll help you but let me remind you. This is my first time encountering a real Saintess of the God of Death. There are no records that there was any female saint in the Church of Death." Cage said and Alexina nodded. Everyone listens to their talking while looking around. They can't see the surroundings much as the design was completely black.

"Are you aware of the very first and the ancient church of death?" Alexina suddenly asks the ex-priestess.

"The Church that suddenly disappeared about 2,000 years ago? Yeah, there are books in the library that said that the Church mysteriously disappeared and it was the most powerful church that was standing during their time. Do you know where it is? Or does it even exist? When I was a priestess I wanted to find that church to prove to those seniors of mine that it exists and not some bullshit." Cage shared her experience, it might not be visible but she feels comfortable with the Saintess next to her. Maybe because the god of death keeps telling her good stuff about this girl or just the Saintess has this warm feeling around her. They finally entered the house, and were greeted with a beautiful interior of black and silver.

"Well, lucky for you. That's where we will be talking with the God of Death. Don't faint when you see the church." Alexina said and started going upstairs. Cage shouted and started going after her.

"Daddy!!! Look here!!" Alaric shouted and started dragging Cale to one of the rooms in there. They followed and were surprised when they saw the inside of the room. The room was covered with books. The books cover the entire place. The only thing that was not covered is a small space with a table and chair and a board.

"You might find information about the gates since most of the books here are very very ancient." Ambrose informed them. Eruhaben walked to one of the shelves and opened one.

"Indeed, this book was written in the ancient script." Eruhaben said and continued reading. Rosalyn was looking through the shelves.

"Young Master, mind leading us to wear your kitchen? So we can prepare for your supper." Ron asked Ambrose who looked at the butler who was smiling at him oddly. The Molans with Lock follow Ambrose out of the room.
