Chapter 26

"I'm back!!" Alexina shouted and opened the door of her room. The room looks so abandoned and she can see that the veranda is still open just like how she left them be. All the things stay the same way as she remembers except her massive drawer that she remembers blocking the door with her mothers vines. The said dresser is already smashed into pieces with rose vines crawling on it.

"Hmm...you can look around. I'll get the clue." Alexina said and walked to her fireplace.

"Who said it's a good idea to make a secret room inside this fireplace?" Alexina complains to herself and crawls inside. She pushed some random tiles and a wall opened up inside the fireplace.

"You're gonna go in there? Looks a bit tight." Cale asks as he knelt down to see.

"Yup. This is my secret room. Follow me later after you look around." Alexina winked at him and started crawling down. If she's still 9 years old then she can walk but she's already 22, the same age as Cale and she surely won't fit in here.

"Cale! Do you have an extra spatial pocket?" Cale hears Alexina so he pulled out the extra pouch and gave it to her.

Cale looked around the place just as Alexina wanted him to.

Nothing really catches his attention except a painting. It's a painting of a young Alexina Keres Libitina, wearing her red gown and surrounded by red and black roses. As Cale stared at it, he can feel like Alexina is staring at his soul and challenging him into a fight. That's how the child Alexina looks in that painting.

"If we have a daughter, will she look like this?" Cale unconsciously wonders.

"I found it!!!" Cale almost stumbles when Alexina jumps on his back.

"Look at this love. It's a fairy tale book about Libitina. Mother always read this as a bedtime story until I'm 7 year old. The quote that she mentioned earlier is in here." Still on his back, Alexina let Cale look at a book.

"Alexina, this body will collapse any moment." Cale murmured, making Alexina laugh and get down from his back.

"We really should find some way to strengthen this body and stamina, this might become a problem especially in the night." Alexina commented while hinting something.

'Aigo..my poor hips and back. Hang in there.'

"Forget about that. If you already know where, then let's depart." Cale tried to change the topic.

"Yeah. I know a way that we can go outside easily."

They made their way to the storage room, and as instructed by her sister, Cale and her pull the second to the last shelf, and they can see a wall where there's a hole in it fitting for a key. Alexina inserted the key and opened the door.

"Is this tunnel known in your family?" Cale asked as they walked in this single way. Alexina shakes her head.

"Nope. According to my 3rd sister, us siblings are the only ones who know about this tunnel leading to outside. I think our eldest brother Eero is the one who made this."

'If the siblings only know about this, then is the cloak individual one of them?'

"Are your other siblings all dead?" Cale asks bluntly.

"I believe so. There were 3 ancient dragons who looked at our town to retrieve the bodies of my relatives. According to Aquaria-nim, they found all of the bodies. Some are still intact but some are burned." Alexina silently answered, and as Cale saw, she didn't want to talk about it anymore so Cale stopped.

'I need to look at this matter later.'

"Do you want to eat something before we buy a boat?" Cale stopped looking around the busy market.

"Let's eat. I have this feeling that I won't be getting any rest later." Cale said and shivered because of the bad feeling that he kept getting at.

Alexina smiled before they walked to find some restaurant to eat.

"I knew it." Cale can't help but to sulk when they buy the ship. The ship is not big but it's not small either.

"You want me to maneuver this? Do you see how big this is?" Cale pointed at their boat.

"Technically yes. I'll hold the steering wheel while you use your ancient power to make this ship move." Alexina climbed in the ship and started making her way to the steering wheel.

'Don't worry Cale! You can ask the wind elemental for help.' the thief said in his mind.

'Yeah! Just use my power!' the crazy kid agreed.

'Just don't overuse it. Your plate is still recovering from the final battle against white star 3 months ago.' Super rock reminds him.

'Your wife might panic if you suddenly cough blood, when she didn't know that you always do that.' the cry baby stated.

They were able to move and maneuver the ship out of the docks and on their journey to the island, as the fairy tale told them so. It's an island in the legend from the tale, and on that island, that's where the 3 ancient temples of the God of Death, Sun, and War have been guarding since ancient times.

Based on the text that they read, the lactation of the island is quite far from the southern continent. Cale even thinks that it's in the middle of nowhere.

"ALEXINA! COME HERE! ANSWER THIS CALL!" Cale shouted as the communication started to ring again. He is sitting in the middle of the deck and controlling the waves so they won't get lost.

"Who?!!"

"Probably the ancient dragons!" Alexina came running down at the speed of light and answered the call.

"Hi." Alexina slightly waved to the camera

"Where are you right now?" Aquaria-nim immediately asks as she can see the familiar ocean where the two problematic children are sailing based on their background.

"I think this is going in the middle of the ocean of the southeastern ocean. I believe." Alexina answered and flinched when she heard something breaking on the other side of the communication device and Aquaria-nim was glaring at them.

"You unlucky bastard!! Turn that boat around!" Cale also flinched when appeared and scolded him.

"Turn that ship around. That's a forbidden zone as there's a gigantic sea monster eating sailors and ships if you cro–" Aquaria-nim wasn't able to finish what she's saying when Alexina suddenly shouted when their ship tilted to the left and a loud noise can be heard in the whole ocean.

"Fuck." Cale cursed out as he rolled to the side when he lost his balance.

"Aquaria-nim! Too late!!" Alexina yelled and moved backward when a massive tail of a monster appeared on their right.

"Shit! I can't use my ability." Alexina mumbled and crawled towards Cale and took the communication device.

"Can you control the ship to move?" Alexina asked Cale, which he did but the monster was powerful. The waves wouldn't respond to his calling.

"I-I can't," Cale coughs a bit and immediately wipes it as Alexina is not looking at him at the moment.

'Your almost at your limit. You've been using your powers since earlier.' super rock told him.

'The monster is making a whirlpool!' the crazy kid yelled and Their ship lurched forward they were thrown to the ocean. Cale's head collided with the pole and hit the water, while Alexina also hit her head with the frame of the ship. The collision was so powerful that she fell to the waters. That movement made Alexina let go of the communication device and it brokes. On the other side of the communication device, the ancient dragons are in panic as they cant communicate with the childrens anymore. And Eruhaben knows that this is dangerous, he sees Cale Henituse coughs a bit, indicating that he is in his limit and Alexina can't use her ability as there's no earth.

"Call the others. We will go there." Eruhaben gets out of the room where they are staying and meets with Hans who is about to bring them refreshment.
