Blood in the rose thistles

Chapter 6

Everyone was silent when they heard what the Ancient Dragon replied.

"Cale, this is a more massive battle than our war with the White Star, 3 months ago. This did not occur in the previous year but right now, there are no other Libitina except that girl. If we don't find a solution for this then, everything in this world will die" Eruhaben warned them.

"Wait, Eruhaben what will happen to Alexina if she will close the gates all by herself?" Cale suddenly asks, Eruhaben looks at Cale before sighting.

"Each gate requires the power of god and life energy, closing the gates all by herself will result in death. Nothing else except death. I know she was already aware of that." Eruhaben sighted, and he was shocked when the twins ran to him, and kicked the ancient dragon's legs and glared at him.

"THAT WON'T HAPPENED, MOTHER IS MORE PERSISTENCE THAN THE GOD OF DEATH AND EVEN THE DEATH ITSELF!!!"

"No, I will not let that happen, we are Libitina, the family that is associated with Death. In the name of our family, we won't let Death take my mother away from us."

The twin said both at the same time. They are still glaring at the Ancient dragon who only looked at them with amusement in his eyes. This is the first time that a human being hit him.

BOOOMMMM!!!!

A sudden explosion from the field took their attention, in the field where Alexina was standing a black magic circle appeared and in her back there was a massive figure started to form. When the form was finally complete, it was floating and wearing a dark hooded cloak and wielding a scythe.

'It's a grim reaper.' Cale and Choi Han thought while looking at the massive grim reaper who was behind Alexina.

And finally Alexina moved, she started circling her scythe in the air, and the Grim Reaper mimicked her.

"The God of Death will close the Nether Gate!!! The spirits will be slashed near his scythe. Alexina Keres Libitina, the last Libitna, requested that the door be locked using divine beings' power!!!!" Alexina who was in a complete trance shouted and threw her scythe towards the gate, the grim reaper flew towards the gate slicing everything that came down to its path.

"That's why, she wants no one in the vicinity." Lock whispered while looking at the reaper who was cutting everything on its path.

"Mommy's roses!!! Ambrose, look at that!! It looks like our gate in our place that was being locked by those vines!!" Alaric informed his twin brother when there were roses coming out of their mother's foot and was crawling towards the gate. When the vines get there, it crawls in every nook and cranny, not leaving behind a place for the smoke that keeps coming out of the gap.

"Is Mommy crazy? Why is she using her blood?!!" Ambrose was shocked when he saw her mother cut herself using one of the thorns and dripped those bloods in the vines. She raises her hands and the scythe goes back directly to her hand. The grim reaper was already in front and was waiting for Alexina to go directly in the gates.

"I told you, it needs life force to keep a gate close. The grim reaper is from the God of Death and the life force comes from the blood." Eruhaben commented, and looked at the scene in front of him.

'It seems that she is stronger than her ancestor in the previous gate opening.'

In the top of the scythe, thick vines started coming out of it, and instead of a black vines, it was red. The red vines started to chain the gate, the vines started to form like a chain and after a few seconds the gate was finally sealed and locked. Alexina throws her scythe to the very top of the gate and it keeps spinning producing a black tornado in the bottom of the gate, the gate starts to get up before a massive mouth appears from the ground and eats the gate. The mouth keeps its mouth open, as if it was waiting for something or someone. The reaper goes exactly where the mouth is and jumps down directly to the mouth. The mouth closes before disappearing.
