Chapter 19

"Young master. Congratulations on your wedding." Cale looked at Hans and Ron who are helping him dress in this very complicated wedding outfit that he will be wearing to his wedding later.

"Thank you. But do you think that this looks a bit too much?" Cale looked down at his suit where he could see a lot of gold as a design. This makes him a walking gold plaque.

"It's not too much, young master. You look good in it. You will surely stun the madam." Hans politely said while fixing my suit.

"Time to go, young master." Ron bowed and stepped aside, letting Cale leave the room and head toward the place where they will hold their wedding.

Cale stands up properly when the musicians start playing indicating that the bride is there. From the entrance of the garden, Cale can see Alexina who is walking slowly.

Cale's bride, spouse and the mother of his children looked straight into his eyes as Alexina gracefully glided towards him. Alexina was absolutely divine in a black ball gown of shimmering gold. It left her shoulders bare and emphasized her exquisite neck and breast, which was adorned with a string of blue stones, perfectly matching the gown. Her hair rested intricately atop her head, held together by a band of black roses. Alexina specifically requested a Wedding where in she can emphasize being a Saintess of the God of Death, thus Cale and Alexina have a midnight wedding where the event will be held under the moonlight and the present of the God of Death since a massive statue of the God is there and in front of it is where they gonna be using as altar. And Cage will be the Priestess who will be blessing the marriage.

For some reason, Cale couldn't take his eyes off her as she walked down the aisle. When Alexina arrived, Cale offered his arms and a moment of peaceful serenity passed between the both of them before they turned to face Cage as the ceremony began.

"Friends and family, citizens of Roan Kingdom, we gather tonight to celebrate a glorious union. The union of our Great Hero, who fought alongside his companions to keep our Kingdom and the other kingdoms in order to keep peace. Our Great Hero, Cale Henituse and his fiance Alexina Keres Libitina. In an open profession of their love and devotion, they have come here, willingly and faithfully, to pledge themselves to each other for the remainder of their lives."

"Cale Henituse, have you made a promise to your bride?" Cage looked at Cale who inhaled.

"I do."

"Alexina Keres Libitina, have you made promise to your husband?"

"I do." That line made Cale sigh in relief for some reason. He didn't notice that he was holding his breath.

"If there be any man or woman present who believes this match to be unworthy, speak now, or forever keep your peace." There was a slight pause. "By the authority granted me by our God of Death, and with joy in my heart, let's start the vow." Cage declares. And a priest walks in carrying a pillow where 2 black and gold rings are put.

The people who are in the wedding gasp in shock as they notice the rings. Black rings are rings that are purposely made for a specific wedding. There's a kind of wedding that is only led by the Church of Death and it's the Death Wedding.

"Is the Young master really in love with his wife to the point that they will be having a death wedding?"

"A death wedding? Is the girl really worth it?"

"This will be the first death wedding in our Kingdom."

The nobles can't help but to express their opinions as Death weddings are the most sacred to the point that the person who will break the marriage will face death. That's the concept of Death Marriage, a marriage where you promise your spouse your life until death takes you.

"For the couple who is putting their life on the line. The hand of the God of Death will bring you the ring, put it in your partner. Once that happens, you can say your vow. Should you break your vow, death awaits you." Cage said, and a black mist started to surround the rings and flew right in front of Cale and Alexina.

"I, Cale Henituse, take Alexina Keres Libitina as my wife till death do us apart. Should I break this vow, I personally offers my life to the God of Death for bringing pain to my wife and to our children." Cale vowed and he took the ring from the mist and put it in Alexina's left hand ring finger.

"I, Alexina Keres Libitina, take Cale Henituse as my husband till death do us apart. Should I break this vow, I personally gave back my life to the God of Death." Alexina vowed and she took the ring and put it in Cale's left hand ring finger. The moment the ring is put, black mist surrounds not of them before disappearing.

"I do proclaim you united under the presence of the God of Death. Cale Henituse, you may kiss your bride." Cage declares making Cale stiffened.

'Ahhh!! How do you even kiss someone? Cale Henituse!! How did you even make your children?!'

Cale looked at Alexina and smiled before walking near her and wrapped his arms around Alexina's waist and he slowly moved his face closer to her, kissing her softly and lovingly. The audience erupted into more applause.

"How long will my father eat my mother's lips? It's taking so long, I'm hungry." Alaric asks Duke Deruth when the kiss is taking so long and everyone hears what he said. Some of them chuckle and contain their laughter. Ambrose, who is next to his twin, tried to contain his laugh by gripping his suit.

After the ceremony there was a celebration with the nobles congratulating their wedding and dancing. Until the Night ends and the Sun slowly appears indicating that the celebration is ending and it's time for Cale and Alexina to go to their honeymoon.

It was a bit hard for them to ride their carriage as the twins were already making a fuss. Ambrose and Alaric literally lay down on Alexina's gown making it harder for her to move, and Alexina needs to hold her top so that it won't take off.

"WHY?!! WHY?!! MOMMY!! THEY SAID THAT YOU WILL BE GOING TO AN ISLAND! I WANT TO SWIM!" Alaric wailed as he threw a tantrums on his mother's wedding gown. Alaric wants to go swimming for the first time in this world, that's why he really wants to go with them.

"I want to go too!!" Ambrose also wailed making the people around them sighted. They should be on their way to the island right now, but it got delayed for 10 minutes because of the twins. Cale is already battling with the twins with bribes but the Great Hero did not succeed.

"Young masters. Looks like the both of you need to sleep. Just like how young master Cale, always has tantrums when he is sleepy. Let this Ron make you sleep." Ron viciously smiled, making Ambrose and Alaric hiccup while Cale finches slightly. That made Ron lift the twins up who are already quiet after being held by Ron and face Cale who is helping Alexina with her gown.

"I'll handle this young master Cale. You should proceed with your plan and expect that tomorrow morning, the young masters will be on the island with you. Have a safe trip." Ron bowed, and the others also did it.

Alexina waved at the twins who were waving at her, with puffy eyes since Ron already wiped the tears and snot. Alexina wants to bring the kids with her, but she knows she can't. She enter the carriage while waiting for Cale to enter who is talking to Choi Han.

After a while, Cale entered the carriage and saw Alexina sleeping, so Cale thought for a bit and sat next to her, and slowly guided her to sleep in his lap. Cale removed his blazer and covered Alexina with it. Cale sighted before letting himself sleep. Both of them don't get enough sleep because of the preparations. Who knows that a wedding like this needs to have 20 hours of preparations.

'I hope they can sleep peacefully because Ron is getting them to sleep. Good luck to my children's.'
