You slightly jumped once Mr. Carson opened the door, revealing your unofficial crush's appearance. She looked up and almost gasped. "Y/N!" She said. You smiled shyly, shaking your head. "Mary." You said. A red blush almost burned her cheeks but she hid it successfully. Mary fake smiled. "How nice!" She said. Cora smiled. "She/he was just visiting and wandered if you'd like to come riding with her/him." She told her. Mary didn't want to look like an ecstatic teenager wanting to hang with her first crush so she smiled politely. "Oh. Perfect." She said a bit nervously. You nonetheless felt butterflies and excitement to spend time with her.
