what is love?
love is a wind
it tears at your dress
it nips at your hair
and it demands you notice
love is hurricane
it can keep you up at night
it will knock at your windows
until you let it in
love is an ocean
it is overwhelming
it makes you feel big and small at the same time
it is a lullaby
and love, cannot be created nor destroyed
it can only change form
respect to friendship
infatuation to hatred
hatred to desire
desire to respect
respect to love
and i know this all
because i know you
you are love
you are the wind, the hurricane and the ocean
you are everything part and the whole
you look at me, and i feel my soul unwind into yours
you touched my arm and i knew
i am in love
