Hell of a crowd was screaming their lungs right out of the stage. The anxiety on Chaeyoung's heart just kept on growing as she listened to all the people that screamed the band members names.

It wasn't like this at first. Maybe it was the years of performing too much concerts that changed the exciting feeling to the pressuring need to please everyone who watches them.

It became horrifying, and she sure can't perform tonight.

"Take this." Their manager, Yoo Jeongyeon, handed her a calming pill. She knows how much Chaeyoung suffers with anxiety nowadays, but they couldn't postpone the concert. It's her job.

"I can't do this." Chaeyoung crushed the pill with bare hands. She looked down as she rests her elbows on her knees.

Jeongyeon pulled out something from her pocket, she handed it over the girl. It was a different type of pill. "I guessed so." She said as she coldly looked at Chaeyoung.

The guitarist heaved a heavy breath in anger, her feet took her to stand up and sprint out of there. As the screams muffled in her ears, she runs away from the backstage and went outside.

Everyone was running after her, Jeongyeon and all of the crews but they were too late. Chaeyoung already drove away in a motorcycle- completely abandoning them. The concert couldn't continue without the lead vocalist. They knew they fucked up.

"Damn it! Ask Dahyun to sing all the numbers instead." That was Jeongyeon's number one solution. She scratched her head as she heavily sighed.

"This kid is going to be the death of me."

"You're trending dude." Tzuyu said in both devastation and amazement. Devastated that her friend was being cancelled on the internet, amazed because she just realized now how famous her bestfriend was.

Chaeyoung doesn't really care about that. Everyone get cancelled for anything on the internet nowadays. She ditched the concert, now everyone thinks she's trash. People wasted money to see her perform but she didn't show up- because here she is sitting on a sofa, playing video games.

Tzuyu continued to read and laugh, sometimes she shouts and curse. But one article spooked her- not because of the absurdness but because her name was included.

"Fuck you Son Chaeyoung! Look at this shit!" She showed the article flashed on the screen of her cellphone. Chaeyoung intently read before laughing hysterically.

'Son Chaeyoung ditching concert and went to her model girlfriend (?) Chou Tzuyu.'

"You better get my name off here you asshole! I told you not to run in here when you're about to cause some trouble. My bubie will kill me!" Tzuyu said panicking while already dialing the number of her girlfriend.

Chaeyoung just threw the console and proceeds to contact her manager. She's a jerk but she wouldn't put her friends into trouble just because of her.

Right after it rung, the call was answered right away. "You answered the phone faster than quicksilver." She let out a slight laugh but the person on the other line didn't seem to be so happy.

"You ditched the concert last night and you have the guts to make jokes?" Her manager sarcastically replied. Chaeyoung just sighed and stood up to go outside the balcony and get some air.

"Jeongyeon, you know how beat I am last night." She pulled out a cigarette from her pocket, lighting it using her zippo lighter.

"You just had a month break Chaeyoung. Do you expect your fans to sit there and wait for you without new music? Without concerts? Without anything?" Jeongyeon was mad but she was calm. She's not the type who gets aggressive in this type of situation- she's professional. "You managed to get by before. You're better than this, you're a performer Chaeyoung. Do your job." She firmly said.

Chaeyoung was already gripping on the railings this time. Bad memories creeping back inside her head. She knew what Jeongyeon meant.

"I can't do drugs anymore Jeongyeon." She said with her shaking voice. Wanting to bury those bad times back in her head, it took her a while to get it out of her system. She's not gonna take another pill again just so she could show herself to people.

It took her months of suffering to finally get rid of the addiction, ain't no way she's going that direction again.

"I don't care what you do. Show your ass up in here and even if we had to put you under anesthesia so you could perform, we'll do that."

The call ended with, that being Jeongyeon's last words to her. Chaeyoung threw her phone out the balcony out of anger. Tzuyu came out looking worried for her.

"What happened? Are you okay?" She approached the fuming girl, Tzuyu saw the tears falling off of Chaeyoung's face. "Talk, bitch!" Tzuyu looked constipated thinking of what's wrong. She's shaking Chaeyoung's shoulder and the girl had no response, but just after a few seconds, the latter stormed out of her house without a single word.

Tzuyu was left there, zoning out and trying to come into conclusion of what the hell happened.

Chaeyoung walked in a pavement, passing by a playground and sitting on one of the benches. She crossed her legs as she sets up her new phone. One thing that she needs to do right now is to clear all the misunderstandings that'll cause stir to her friend's life.

In twitter, she typed on her official account-

@THEMAVENscy: I get that you're mad at me, but don't include my friend's names out on your gossips and issues.

In just after a minute, her notifications began to explode. She tapped her tweet to add another thread.

@THEMAVENscy: I'll talk with the management and I'll refund all of you using my own money, if that's enough satisfaction. Just leave my friends alone.

By thinking that it's enough, she exits the app and was about to turn her phone off when suddenly she heard a voice behind her. "You should apologize." She turned around and judgementally looked at the jolly girl. "If you just call them off like that then you'll come off as an arrogant and annoying piece of shit. You wouldn't want a reputation like that."

Chaeyoung creased her forehead then removed her aviator glasses, very much confused right now. "Excuse me, but who are you?"

The stranger giggled then casually sat beside her on the bench. She stole Chaeyoung's phone out of the girl's hands and opened the bird app again. She wrote-

@THEMAVENscy: I'm sorry if you all anticipated a concert where you'll see me perform. I was just---

"Are you sick last night?" The strange girl asked again. Chaeyoung nonchalantly answered.

"Y-Yes. Quite like that."

---in a bad shape last night. The tour was taking a toll on me. Again, I'm sorry for wasting your time and money.

The girl sent the tweet. Chaeyoung just stared at her as she accepted her phone being handed back to her.

"Excuse me, but who are you again?" Chaeyoung repeated her question as she followed the woman who began to walk towards a swing, not sparing her anymore attention.

"Sunghoon!" The stranger called to one of the boy playing, the kid happily jumped as she ran towards her. "We're leaving." She said and the kid nodded. Chaeyoung was just there, losing her mind right now because the woman was not acknowledging her existence.

"Hey, miss. I just asked you a que--"

Her words got cut off with a piece of paper handed to her. The woman put on her cool sunglasses and flips her hair as she holds the kids hand.

"I assume you can read. I have to go and bring my nephew back, so, adios!" The woman walked away with the kid. Chaeyoung was left on a trance.

The screaming fans from a distance was her wake up call. She ran back to her car and she got a glance of the paper that the woman gave her, it was a calling card.
