The noon is high, and Chaeyoung might not be, but here she is— fiddling the little pebbles that was displayed around a small fish tank that has fancy pink miniature boat and corals inside, no fish. And that fish tank is placed inside the office that she decided to visit today.
She's been waiting for like 20 minutes for the owner of the office to arrive, and with that little time she's already becoming a little bit impatient.
She scanned the whole place and seeing the whole look of the room, if not for the white tiles and white walls— the office could definitely be a real life representation of Elle Woods' desk from legally blonde. Everything was just pink.
It's quite ironic though because it actually is a lawyer's office, and the lawyer is blonde— although not natural, it's close to being identical.
Suddenly, a picture frame facing it's back to her caught her attention and she was about to flip it into her direction to take a look. But the noise that the door made, stopped her. A thud of an opening door, followed by a series of clicking heels.
"Don't touch that." The newly arrived owner of the office said.
Chaeyoung carefully placed it back and faced Minatozaki Sana— the lawyer that she met yesterday and the lawyer she's meeting now.
The lawyer swiftly sat on her chair, and with enough confusion in her eyes, she looked at the singer. "What brings you here?" She asked.
Chaeyoung without any words just pulled out something from her bag and handed it over to Sana. The lawyer looked at it, and it was a VIP admission ticket to THE MAVEN's concert in their city tonight. She looked back at the vocalist.
"I figured I could pay you back with that since you solved my problem yesterday." Chaeyoung said with a smile on her face. She meant to be grateful, pertaining to that added tweet that really saved her ass.
Not even a single soul requested for a refund, everyone sympathized with her and even wished her well. It really spared her from losing thousands of dollars.
Sana clicked her tongue, still looking at the tickets. "Why are there two?" She asked again.
Chaeyoung gravely answered, "You could bring someone so you wouldn't get bored."
But Sana as a jerk, joked around again using her interrogation skills— unnecessarily. "So your concert is boring?"
Chaeyoung still serious, tried to defend herself. And with a stuttering voice she responded, "N-no."
"So why would I be bored?"
"B-Because—" Chaeyoung felt frustrated, finding the right words. Until all that was left was her embarrassment and vexation. "Oh come on, you know what I mean. Just bring someone, jeez!" A heavy sigh left her lungs, but a geeky laugh left Sana's.
It felt more creepier for the vocalist because the lawyer switched her expression from joking— to serious. A stern facial expression was now printed in her face.
"Stand up." Sana commanded right after she cuts off the fun. Intimidating, that's why Chaeyoung took less than a second to follow.
The lawyer walked over to her, with one finger, she placed Chaeyoung standing right at the mouth of the opened door.
