"Pull out?!" Jeongyeon asked, flabbergasted by the sudden request that Chaeyoung made right after they arrived at the hotel. "You wanted to pull out when we're already here? Don't fuck with me." She snickered and turned her back.
The lead vocalist remained adamant, "It can just be me. The rest could go on, I wanna go home." She said. Unlike before, she really can't threaten Jeongyeon now, right after she just promised Dahyun that she will not let their band to break.
"What the hell is wrong with you all of a sudden? You greeted everyone politely and delightfully down there, the director, the staffs, and the actors. What is it that's wanting you to go home?" Jeongyeon questioned her again. She really can't understand Chaeyoung's behavior no matter how hard she tries.
"I. Wanna. Go. Home." She sternly said, like a kid. Her band mates are now hitting their foreheads in embarrassment.
"Sorry kid, really can't do anything about it. The decision is from up there."
"Who? Jesus Christ?!"
"She meant the bosses Chaeyoung, our bosses." Dahyun interrupted. The band members held back their laughs.
"Well, then talk to Nayeon." Chaeyoung insisted once more.
Jeongyeon sighed. "First of all, that's our President, don't call her by her name. Second of all, she has no power over it. Our chairman is friends with the Chairman of the Production team of the drama, so it's basically a favor. Don't make our lives harder."
"But--" Chaeyoung couldn't really plead her case anymore because Jeongyeon walked out of the room and her band mates held her to stop her from following their manager.
"Drop it Son, drop it." They said, Chaeyoung just let out a defeated sigh.

"Okay everyone! We will have an hour lunch break and then we'll start shooting with the band!" One of the production staffs announced. Chaeyoung rolled her eyes. There's only one way to get her way out of here, and that's what she's about to do now.
She approached the staff who just made the announcement. "Excuse me. Can I ask you to do something for me?" She said politely with a smile, the staff meets her energy and asked what it is. Chaeyoung said, "Can you tell director Myoui that I want to talk to her. I'll be meeting her in a coffee shop just a few meters away from here, just down there." She pointed, still smiling. "I'm a bit shy to talk to her in front of everyone so... I'm really sorry for bothering you."
The staff just smiled at her. "There's not a problem at all, I'll tell her."
"Thank you! I'll go ahead first then." Chaeyoung walked out of the set and made her way to the coffee shop. She didn't wanna go far by talking to Mina on pulling her out of this project, but she thought it's either she talk with her now or be stuck with her for two whole weeks.
She sat on a table, ordered a coffee for herself and waited. It didn't took much time. Mina appeared on the door with a confused and awkward look on her face. She sat in front of the guitarist and politely bowed.
"Ms. Son, for what do I owe this pleasure?" She said politely, Chaeyoung just visibly rolled her eyes, surprising Mina.
"Cut the crap." Chaeyoung rudely said, it shocked Mina even more. "We both know we don't wanna see each other here, nor see each other for another two weeks."
"Excuse me?!" Mina scoffed, couldn't believe what she was hearing. And here she thought that Chaeyoung was ready to bury everything that happened to them, but it seems not.
"Get me out of the drama." Chaeyoung requested, as if it was nothing. "Tell your boss you don't want me to act on your project, say anything, I'm rude, I'm always drunk, or anything just anything. Make something up. Just make me go home."
"I don't get what you're talking about. I think we're done here." Mina stood up, anger creeping over her, but Chaeyoung pulled her back in her seat.
"No we're not." The guitarist had a sharp look on her face, eyes focused on Mina like fire was emitting off of it. She's mad. "I expect you to atleast do everything you can so you can stay out my sight. Looking at you feels so disgusting Mina, atleast do your best to not show yourself infront of me to atone for what you did." Words just came slipping off of Chaeyoung's mouth. It felt like years of anger that's getting free.
Mina scoffed. "So you're still holding a grudge for what happened 7 years ago? You acted all tough and professional in front of everyone but when it's just the two of us you curse at me with disrespect?" Mina stood up again and faced Chaeyoung down. "Then suffer Son Chaeyoung. Suffer seeing this face for two weeks, or maybe learn to move on and stop torturing the two of us with something that happened a long time ago. Stop acting like a kid." Mina walked out of the coffee shop, angry.
That's what happens when two fire collides, it breaks and spread.
Chaeyoung was just left there, don't know how to feel. She felt guilty and mad all at the same time. She sat there contemplating, sipping on a coffee, feeling bad about herself. But then she asks, does she really need to feel guilty, or was it just what Mina deserved? She really don't know.
A few minutes later her phone chimes. A text message from Jeongyeon popped up.
Jeongyeon: Shooting got moved tomorrow, the director was sick.
Chaeyoung sighed. She just hoped for everything to get better. Oh dear God she wishes the world will stop torturing her.
