Tales of Dani

Chapter 2: The Invasion

The city was in chaos. The second invasion has begun! Portals opened everywhere, Kraang ships flew above buildings, and people were running in terror. Dani jumps from rooftop to rooftop, desperately looking for Slash. She tried contacting him from her mobile device multiple times, but there was no response. Dani was getting worried. She knew he wanted to fight alone, but this seemed out of character for the mutant tortoise. Did he get captured? Is he hurt? Or is he...

Not wanting to think of the worst that could happen, Dani was determined to find Slash before this invasion could get any worse. Maybe the Turtles could help her find him...

(Meanwhile)

The Shredder stood on top of a pile of rubble and watched with an apathetic gaze. "The city is ours, Master Shredder," Tiger Claw said next to him. "Since I was a boy, I have seen this very vision," his master said. "The world in chaos."

Just then, a sudden howl came from a building. Shredder turned and saw Rahzar, a double-mutated dog who was once the martial arts celebrity, Chris Bradford, leap down and kneel before him. "Master Shredder," he said. "The Kraang have sent word! Leonardo is not far from here. They're leading him straight to us." "Excellent," Shredder replied. "Then it is the beginning of the end."

(At the Turtles' lair)

Splinter looks around his home, seeing that it is now destroyed. He had just defeated Kraang Subprime after April accidentally led him to the lair, believing that he was her human friend Irma. She, Donatello, and Michelangelo were forced to leave him and Leonardo behind while they retreat to her apartment. He picks up a broken picture of the turtles and says to himself, "Don't stand here like a fool, Yoshi. Find your family."

(Meanwhile)

Leonardo pokes out of a manhole cover and climbs out into an alley. It's not long before he notices that Foot Bots have spotted him. They start shooting arrows at him. Leonardo blocks the arrows with his katana blades and runs to another location.

On the rooftops above, Dani continues her search for Slash. She suddenly noticed a dark figure on rooftops way ahead of her. It almost looked like the Kraang were firing lasers at it. Hoping to get a closer look, she suddenly hears another noise. It was closer. She turns and sees the blue masked turtle being chased by Foot Bots. "Leonardo?" she whispers. She then turns to where she saw the dark figure and saw that it was gone. Frustrated, Dani thinks to herself for a moment. 'What if that was Slash? What if the Kraang got him? But Leonardo is fighting robot ninjas alone! He needs help!' With a sigh, the cloaked girl decided to follow the robots and hoped that whatever the figure was (Slash or not), made it out okay.

(Meanwhile)

"Just a little further to April's place!" Casey shouted. He and Raphael stopped at the middle of a street and see that Kraang Prime has stepped out of a portal. "Yes! Kraang Prime returns to Earth!" "You got some kind of plan to fight that?" asked the hockey-masked vigilante. "Uh, not really, no," Raphael answers, backing away from the giant Kraang.

"People of Earth," Kraang Prime says, "the Kraang forming of your world is about to begin!" He holds out a gun and starts shooting mutagen at the humans. "NO!" Raphael shouts, watching in horror. The humans were now mutated Kraang creatures. "Now that is really messed up," Casey said faintly.

(Channel 6 Breaking News!)

"Invasion! That's right, folks! The aliens are back! Robots are emerging from portals! UFOS are everywhere! A giant alien brain is stomping through the east village!" The TV broadcast suddenly cuts off.
