Chapter 4: Battle For New York (Part 2)

The Turtle Blimp flies through the air, heading toward TCRI. "So do we even have a real plan here or are we just winging it for laughs?" Raphael asks. "It's all on the Mighty Mutanimals," Donatello responds. "First they break into TCRI, then Doc Rockwell activates the portal." "And then it's back to Dimension X," Michelangelo finishes excitedly. "Yeah, boy! I get to be smart again."

"I get the first part," Raphael says skeptically. "Makes sense. It's the 'save millions of mutated New Yorkers' part I don't get." "Well, Donnie's got his super retro-mutagen stuff," Leonardo says. "That'll work. Uh, right, Donnie?" The purple masked turtle beams and holds a canister of the retro-mutagen. "Heck yeah," he responds. "And once we change all the humans back, Rockwell will hone in on us with the Kraang portal and, theoretically, teleport us all back to Earth. Hopefully. Maybe..."

Leonardo and Raphael give him an unimpressed look. "Yep, we're doomed," the red masked turtle says. "It's an awesome plan, Raph," Michelangelo says, bouncing into a dramatic pose. "Dimension X, here we come!" "I just hope the Mutanimals don't screw this up," Leonardo says in worry. "If they can't get that portal open..."

(Meanwhile)

In the highest floor of TCRI, a wall suddenly exploded, taking the Kraang completely by surprise. Five figures stepped through the hole. Slash, Leatherhead, Rockwell, Dani, and Pigeon Pete were ready for battle. "Aw, Kraang," one of the droids said. "Mutanimals... HO!" Slash shouted as he led the charge. His teammates quickly followed him and everything turned into chaos.

Slash hit one droid with his mace. Rockwell blasted some with his powers. Dani sliced any droid that was standing in her path with her sword. "Crush KRAANG!" Leatherhead shouted as he smashed three droids with his hands.

After hitting the droids that surrounded him, Slash glances at Rockwell. "Doc, get that portal up pronto!" he orders. The mutant chimp leaps toward the portal's controls, knocking out the droids that were in the way. "Hacking in now," he says as he rapidly pressed the buttons on the controls. "Doc, hurry it up!" Slash shouts, blocking laser fire with his shell. He then throws a loaf of bread at a Kraang droid, which causes Pete to dive at it. "Bread, give me bread!" he shouts pecking at it.

Rockwell finishes hacking and presses the last button. "The portal is up!" he announces. Leatherhead and Dani turn to see the pink light blast into the air, shooting it up towards the ceiling and out of the tower. "Nice work, Doc," Dani says.

(Meanwhile)

The Turtles see the pink light shoot out from TCRI and into the sky. "Yes!" Michelangelo cheers. "They did it!" "Unbelievable," an amazed Leonardo says. "Hoist the mizzenmast, lads!" Raphael shouts. "This pirate ship's about to jack Dimension X!" "Ready your oxygen converters, guys," Donatello calls out, sticking his straw like device into his mouth. His brothers all did the same. "BOOYAKASHA!" Michelangelo shouts as the blimp heads toward the portal.

On the ground below, Kraang Subprime attaches his Irma head back into his machine. "So, those Turtle freaks think they're goin' to my home turf?" he asks himself, watching the blimp. "Forget about it." With that, he blasted upwards and shot through the portal after them.

The Turtles scream as they fly through the portal, soon appearing to Dimension X... upside down. "Okay," Leonardo starts. "Welcome back to Dimension X." The blimp then turns right-side up. "Phew," Donatello says. "Well, that's 23% better." "And I got a way of making it a thousand times better," Michelangelo says. "Booyakasha!" He then throws a smoke bomb, making the others cough. "Mikey!"
