"I know that look, I expected it, actually." Omarr Igwe shook his head slightly after noticing Greyson's hesitant expression the moment he opened the door to leave Dr Lena Vargas' room.

"I know I promised, but well, we're here, and if I'm leaving tomorrow, it would be a wasted- "

"As long as you're fine with it, young man, I shall not decline any further."

Greyson widen his eyes slightly, surprised at how easily Omarr Igwe agreed to his request of wanting to stay and explore Detroit Zoo without him even having to say it at all. Frankly, after meeting Dr Lena Vargas and getting her word on trying her best to help with Clyde's situation made him felt reassured, so getting a good rest wouldn't even be an issue at all, since he was actually exhausted, but then, the excitement of being in this place was so much more overwhelming than his fatigue.

One would wonder why Greyson would be excited about zoos in the first place if he truly loved animals that much. The fact of the matter is that contradictory to what many other animal lovers believe, Greyson personally does not oppose to the idea of animals being in zoos. He did think the same way before getting into this line, that zoos are just cages for these animals, restricting them of their right to freedom.

Thing is, nobody knows what goes on behind the scenes, and because Greyson knew firsthand from his internship, his experiences changed his opinions as well. After, he embraced it knowing that at least Central City Zoo does take care of them well, placing their survival and interests as priorities, while the others he was sure can be gradually improved in the future. For example, most of their enclosures are open and designed for comfort, proving the effort to make the environment as similar to their natural homes as possible.

However, most still described the animals being placed in captivity, possibly due to the lesser developed zoos still keeping their animals in cages, this is that one thing Greyson does not approve of. Even if he didn't, there was nothing he could do to release these animals on a global scale, so all he needed to do was make sure they are all well taken care of since things might not get better for their survival if they were led back into the wild. Greyson's opinion was strengthened by what he had seen today, knowing that some of the animals were rescued from the wild and placed in these sanctuaries.

Not wanting to spend the entire day accompanying Greyson at the zoo, Omarr Igwe suggested that he drop off Greyson's backpack at the hotel first, since he knew that he will only be within the zoo's premises. The boy also agreed to calling Omarr when he would like to head back to rest, though he knew that he would most likely leave later, since Dr Lena Vargas will be doing the necessary procedures for Clyde's case then.

Taking photos of the surrounding environment and enclosures, Greyson then sent them to both the group chat as well as to Richard Klitzing to update them on his location, as well as to inform that they he had already spoken to Dr Lena Vargas and gotten her approval to assist them with Clyde's case. Shelley Gardner only replied with a thumbs up emoji while Garrett Cohen viewed and didn't acknowledge.

The boy mostly spent his afternoon just taking notes of several aspects of Detroit Zoo, notably, its facilities, and how different it was from Central City Zoo. Even if it was considered a business trip, he surely took time in his own leisure as well, especially more so when he is allowed full access to the premises.

Detroit Zoo may not be as developed as Central City Zoo, nor have even close number of staff caring for it's animals, the enclosures was still well organized and the animals healthy, proving Dr Vargas's dedication.
