Its the day of the dance and just as I was getting ready I was listening to Ethan and Benny list out items we needed to defeat Jesse.
"Holy water ball?" Benny said.
"check." Ethan responded. "Garlic bombs?"
"Ugh, nasty. Check."
"Yeah you two are taking care of those." I shook my head as I zipped my dress up.
"UV flash blaster?" Ethan asked.
"Benny don't-" I started.
"Ow. Benny!" Ethan shouted signaling benny flashed the blaster. "Check. Stake-o-matic?"
"I don't know which one that is, but check." Benny told us.
"Ok. If we're gonna kick Jesse while he's down, we can't go halfway. Do you think we need one more?" Ethan said to my brother. "You think we need one more."
"Just to be safe Eth." I spoke doing my hair.
"Oh the UV Sun Saber XL. Check." Benny excitedly spoke.
"uh, lex, we'll see you at the dance. Get there safe and make sure Rory understands the plan." Ethans tone suddenly changed.
"Ethan? What's wrong? Why'd you-" I heard the dial tone. "He hung up on me." I slapped my hands down.
"Alexandria dear. Rory's about to pull up." Grandma came into my room.
"Thanks Grandma." I grinned.
"And one more thing. Make sure none of your other fanged friends are infant of you when you cast this one." She handed me a piece of paper. "Be careful tonight dear."
"We will, Grandma." I kissed her cheek as the doorbell rang. "He's here." I squealed. I ran to the door but I quickly fixed my hair first. I opened it and saw Rory there with more flowers in his hand.
"Here." He handed them to me.
"Thanks Ror." I passed them to my grandmother. Rory held his arm out and I grabbed it.
"Keep her safe tonight." Grandma reminded the boy.
"Always, Mrs. Weir." Rory nodded. We walked over to his car where he ran to open the door.
"Such a gentleman." As we were driving I spoke up. "You remember the plan right?"
"Yes." Rory answered.
"...What is it?" I looked over at him.
"Oh." He chuckled. "To keep you out of it."
"N-no Rory. Just steer clear of all the boys' little gizmos. I don't want something bad happening to you." I placed my hand on his arm.
"Don't worry Dria. Im-" he started.
"A big, bad, bloodsucking vampire. I know." I blushed.
"Yeah." He smiled while looking at me.
"Hey. Eyes on the road mister." I joked.
"Right- sorry." He immediately focused. Once we got to the dance we met up with the boys. After waiting for a little we got the signal. Ethan and Benny hid in the lockers while Rory and I hid around the corner. A few minutes later I heard Sarah scream.
"Erica is in a trance. He's not as weak as we though. Get him!" Two people appeared in front of Rory and I. We nodded at each other than took one each. I used my powers to push the guy up against the lockers. He fought back a little then twisted us so I was on the lockers. With my other hand I used my powers to grab a pencil and stake it through the man. When Rory was finished we went ran to the others. There we saw Ethan being held by Jesse.
"Now, either you become on of us... or he does." Jesse says. Then it all happened in slow motion. As Jesse went to bite Ethan, I started to run. I was too late because he still bit Ethan but that didn't slow me down. When I got close Jesse dropped him and quickly pushed me against the lockers.
"Nice try, witch." Then he stuck his claws into my stomach. I gasped in pain before dropping to the floor. Rory and Benny rushed over to me.
"R-rory, get behind me." I grunted in pain.
"Huh? What are you talking about? We have to get you to a hospital!" He said to me.
"Just do it." I pleaded. He did as told and as Jesse started backing up I muttered the spell Grandma gave me. "lianes sumera sol." I weakly aimed my hand at Jesse then let the light go. It hit his side and he limped out of sight.
"W-we gotta get her to a hospital." Rory stuttered.
"N-no. Ethan? How's Ethan?" I tried sitting up. I looked over and saw Sarah sucking Ethans blood to save him.
"Sarah...no." Ethan weakly protested.
"You guys go. Us three will catch up." Erica tells us. Rory lifts me as he and Benny ran out of the school.
"You go to the hospital and ill go get my grandma!" Benny started running the opposite way but stopped quickly. "Lex?"
"Yeah, Ben?" I groaned.
"Don't die." He asked.
"I won't Ben." I teared up. Benny signaled Rory and he nodded. I held my head in, so I didn't get whiplash, then ran as fast he could.
"I have an answer." He said.
"Tell me." I drooped.
"Dria." He stopped for a second. My head snapped up.
"Im listening." I looked at him.
"I was scared of losing you and that it wouldn't be true." He confessed.
"You're such an idiot Ror..." I drifted off.
"Dria!" The was the last thing I heard.
When I woke up I was being wheeled into a room with Rory following the doctors.
"Is she gonna be ok?" Rory asked.
"Rory?" I moaned.
"Dria! Dria! Don't worry." Rory grabbed my hand. Rory started talking to the doctors and the doctors started responding but I couldn't understand them.
A few hours later, I was laying in a hospital room. I tried to sit up but groaned in pain. A head snapped up and I looked to see Benny.
"Lex!" Benny shot up and ran to the door. "She's up." Benny ran back to me and hugged me.
"Ow, ow." I grunted.
"Oh sorry." Benny let go of me.
"Thank god, Lexa." Ethan hugged me next.
"Me too, Eth." I sighed in relief. Next was my grandma.
"Im sorry grandma." I apologized.
"You have nothing to be sorry about dear." She kissed my head. Next was my girls. They hugged me at the same time and then it was Rorys turn.
"Told you you were gonna be ok." He smiled.
After the doctor came in and told me what was needed I was falling asleep with Rory by my side. Before I drifted off I heard him say one thing, I love you. So I though to myself I'll just tell him when I wake up.
But I never got to.

very sad to say the season one is over. but season 2 will be up sometime within the next two months I have a lot of things going on and a lot of books I want to publish! so stay tuned! i'm really happy people are reading it and enjoying it!
