Gwen was stuck making small talk with dusty's mother which was okay because it means I wasn't and she didn't seem to want to talk to Gwen anyway,
I went upstairs to find the bathroom which I already knew to be fancy as was everything else in this house but when I opened a door without reading the sign it was a bedroom,

Slightly bigger than dusty's and covered in green and black where as dusty's room had red and gold all over his, this boy was the spitting image of dusty but younger and more well mannered, he was sitting up on his bed legs out in front of him and straight back reading a book, I looked at the boy for a moment feeling an instant sort of connection to him I needed to make myself known,

"Uh I'm sorry I'm sorry I didn't mean to disturb you"
He looked up with a slight smile more than what his parents gave but less than a grin dusty would give,
"It's okay..."
I step inside the room admiring how clean and neat it looks,
"Sorry to ask in your own house but who are you?"
The boy drowned a little marking his book and placing it on the bedside table, swinging his legs over the edge of the bed he sits up,
"I'm regulus... dami- dusty's brother"
Before I could ask he read my mind,
"I'm One year younger than my brother, 12 years old just turned"
I looked at the boy carefully,
"You didn't have a party?"
"The only reason this one is happening is because of you guys... usually it would be tea with the entire family and a gift exchange that's all"
I felt for the boys they didn't seem to get a childhood at all, dusty only had one because he went to school but regulus didn't seem to even go to school.

"Why don't you join us?"
His eyes widened and he jumped up off his bed,
"Why on earth would I do that?"
I was confused now,
"Why wouldn't you? It's your brother?"
He scoffed and crossed his arms like a child,
"He hates me always has thinks mother and father like me better than him"
I stared for a while,
"Is that true?"
He sighed looking up at me then down at the floor,
"I suppose it is.. yeah BUT that's only because Damien does everything in his power to upset them! Changed his name, befriended the one boy at school our parents never liked and gets into trouble a lot playing pranks and all sorts!"
He thought for a moment then spoke again,
"But he hasn't done any of those things for a while now... I'm only guessing that's when he met you and the pretty blonde downstairs?"
"I suppose.."
His eyes lit up a little,
"Are you two together?!"
I laughed then sat down beside him,
"No no just bestfriends... I'm actually dating a intern at the hospital his names levi Jones nice man"
Regulus' eyes dimmed after hearing that but only a little,
"Thank you..."
I cocked my head sideways,
"What for?"
"For taking care of him... my parents don't so I'm glad you are"
"You're very welcome, I would hope maybe you join us soon? Maybe?"
His eyes widened again,
"No no I couldn't possibly my parents wouldn't approve it's improper and takes time away from my studies!"
I could see regulus tries hard to impress his and dusty's parents I guess if dusty doesn't reg does and that's a lot of pressure on a 12 year old.

"Y/N!!!"
I was called.. damn

"I-"
"Go.."
Regulus looked sad to see me leave but I was called upon so I had to he knew that as much as I did.

I left the room forgetting about the bathroom completely and made my way down stairs,
"Dusty?"
"oh please madam do call him by his real name"
I hated this bitch with every inch of my body, perrie was standing in front of me now arms crossed, eyes dark and mouth sour,
I ignored her of course,
"DUSTY!?"
I said louder this time throwing a smirk at the tall brunette woman with the sour face like a smacked ass,

"Y/n thank god you're here we're opening presents now!"
I picked mine up from the table and handed it to him,
Eagerly he opened it up and his face lit up a thousand,
"It's a chain lock necklace just like you and Gwen!"
I giggled as he smiled broadly,
"Yep! Now you're matching us, true friendship"
"Forever?"
"Forever... that was from both of us"
He smiled but not for long his dad came up to him with a sour face like his wife and a box in hand, dusty clearly didn't like the presents he got from his parents if he got more than one anyway,
"I know we don't give you presents on birthdays but you're turning 13 so it's a special one"
Dusty looked confused,
"But father I thought it was 18?"
"Take it or leave it boy!"
Dusty took the box with a slight smile but was returned with an angry grunt,

Dusty opened the box and inside was an old black metal watch with green as the colour inside the glass and "golloway" engraved on the edge he looked up at his father,
"Thank you father"
He knelt down to his sons height and helped him put the watch around his wrist explaining who's it was before him and why he was given it,
"This was your uncle alfred's he died when you were five, he had left a note along with the watch demanding that it go to you and not any one else so here you are..."
He looked at it more happily, I'd have to ask about his uncle a little later,
"Thank you... uncle alf"
His father walked away leaving me, Gwen and dusty at the seating area alone,

"GWEN HONEY HELP ME WITH THE AREPA's"
Perrie called out from the kitchen,
"Oh no... I swear they're Spanish?!"
Dusty laughed,
"We're part Spanish... 'la sangre siempre gana' our family motto"
Gwen looked at him shocked,
"What does it mean?"
"Blood always wins"
Gwen was called again and rushed off,
"What does it mean?"
"It means that if there was a war, blood relatives over friends"
An awkward moment was in the air so I broke it with a sigh,
"You never told me you had a brother.."
His eyes widened regulus did really look like dusty,
"How do you-"
"I bumped into him upstairs"
"Oh well he's the golden child never does any wrong in mother and fathers eyes... perfect reggie"
"... thank you"
I looked at him with a small smile,
"Thank you for talking to him I mean..."

I didn't say anything but silently I had made it my mission to get those two talking and liking each other again then after we get them out of that hell of a house!
