Chapter 3 - Reveal of the selected ones

Class just ended and since there was nothing else for me to do I wanted to confirm my suspicion from earlier. If Tsukishiro really made me the randomly selected person for Class D (A/N I'm gonna name the Classes from their original name Ryueen's Class = Class C and Ichinose's Class = Class B etc.) then I have to think about executing my plan. This plan would make a huge difference on my school life. But I will only execute it if there is no other way.

When I arrived at the board I saw four names on the list. Many students from Class B and Class C were already gathered there.

Event exam selected person for each class

Class A: Hashimoto Masayoshi

Class B: Ichinose Honami

Class C: Shiina Hiyori

Class D: Ayanokoji Kiyotaka

Well that just confirms my suspicion from earlier. While I was still there I saw Hiyori approaching me.

Hiyori: "Hello Ayanokoji looks like we're gonna be our representatives from our classes."

She said smiling happily. She smiled so brightly that it almost made me smile. Of course I didn't smile since I never smile but I could feel myself having a weak smile in the inside.

Ayanokoji: "Hello Hiyori, yeah looks like it I'm not very excited about that if I'm being honest."

Before we could continue the conversation, Ishizaki joined our conversation.

Ishizaki: "Oi Ayanokoji what are you doing with Shiina? You know you can just go on a date with her."

Hiyori started blushing a little bit but she still kept her smile from before.

Ayanokoji: "It's nothing like that we were just talking about the special exam since we both are the selected person from our class."

Ishizaki: "Ah I see how it is, well I'll leave you two alone then."

He then proceeded to leave us. We then started discussing the exam and after that we started to talk about books again. We talk for about ten minutes before I took my leave. Right then Horikita messaged me saying:

[Looks like you're the selected person. Let's discuss it tomorrow in class.]

I couldn't possibly refuse her since I had no good reason to refuse and if I really did refuse then she would stab me with the compass.

[Yeah that's fine.]

Next Day

Everyone was present and we now started to discuss the special exam. Since many classmates are still mad at me I didn't want to say that much during the discussion. So I let Horikita do the talking for now.

Horikita: "Okay everyone listen up, Ayanokoji was selected as the representative for our class."

I started hearing some unpleasant noises from our class. I didn't particularly care.

Horikita: "Don't start making noises. Since Ayanokoji is the representative, I first want to discuss what we're going to do for the competition against the other classes. We should go for Class C in my opinion since I believe they are the weakest opponents compared to the others."

Hirata: "I agree there are some good students but overall I think we have a better chance against them than against the likes of Sakayanagi or Ichinose."

Many students started to agree with them. If you asked me I also kind of agree with them. They are physically strong but when it comes down to academic abilities we would surely win. If we were to compete against Sakayanagi's class we would be inferior in both aspects.
