Chapter 12 - Dealing with Nanase

The next few weeks were difficult to deal with since my class was still hating on me. Not only that but the other classes were now wary of me since I showed off on the last special exam. A few students were now following me, especially when I am in Keyaki Mall. But I can live with that for now.

In the last few days I thought about the plan I will execute next. Also my previous plan is still not over yet but I'll save this for an emergency. Rather said it is not time yet to use the second part.

A few weeks ago on the award ceremony I messaged a person and now it was time to meet with this person. I was waiting for them behind the school building.

Nanase: "Hello Ayanokoji-senpai."

Ayanokoji: "Hello Nanase. Let's move go to Keyaki Mall."

Nanase: "That's fine with me."

We then moved to Keyaki Mall and ordered a drink. I ordered a black tea and she ordered a coffee.

Nanase: "So why did you call me out here senpai?"

Ayanokoji: "Before we do that, can we go to the supermarket?"

Nanase: "Sure but why?"

Ayanokoji: "There is some stuff I need to buy and if I'm here already I'll do it now."

Nanase: "Sure I don't mind senpai, should I accompany you?"

Ayanokoji: "Sure."

So we drank our drinks and went to the supermarket. I bought some ingredients I needed and after we left. On the way we saw Amasawa.

Amasawa: "Senpai what are you doing with Nanase?"

It feels like I met a complete new person. She didn't act like the normal Amasawa I knew. She didn't tease me and neither did she have her devilish smile. Instead she was pouting, it was the first time I saw her pouting.

Ayanokoji: "There's something we need to discuss, that's why I called her out."

Amasawa: "Well have fun and don't you dare do something with her okay? You are mine senpai."

Ayanokoji: "Who said that I was yours?"

Amasawa: "Me of course."

Ayanokoji: "Not so sure about that."

Nanase was quiet the whole time and after that the conversation was pretty much over, so Nanase and I walked away.

Ayanokoji: "Is it okay if we go to a karaoke? We can talk there peacefully without someone listening to us."

Nanase: "Yeah I thought of that too, so it's fine senpai."

We then went to the karaoke and ordered some drinks again. After getting comfortable I decided to start getting to the point.

Ayanokoji: "How are you doing Nanase?"

Nanase: "I'm doing fine senpai but that was not the question you wanted to ask right? Just tell me."

Well I let her wait for a while now and I was thankful that she was patient with me.

Ayanokoji: "You're right."

Ayanokoji: "Nanase, why did you come to this school?"

Nanase: "Well like any other student I am here for the price you get from graduating from Class A. Why do you ask senpai?"

Ayanokoji: "I thought there may be some other reason. But if that is wrong then I'm sorry."

Nanase: "It's fine senpai but that is not all right?"
