Chapter 19

Both Seohee and me are standing at the very edge of the class, discussing things about boys. Specifically, it's about no one other than both Mingyu and Mr. Jeon.

"I feel like he doesn't feel the same way towards me." She murmured.

"Are you sure? I've been watching him and I noticed that he took secret glances at you every time he have the chance to." I whispered to her, not wanting anyone else to hear our secret conversations.

"You expect me to trust that?" She rolled her eyes.

"Oh, you don't trust your bestfriend now?"

"I said the same thing to you about Mr. Jeon but you didn't trust me as well." She rebuked and rolled her eyes again.

"It's not that I don't trust you. But, there's no way Mr. Jeon would have feelings for his student. Remember, student teacher relationships are illegal." I shook my head as I facepalmed. The fact that Mr. Jeon have feelings for me? Inanely unbelievable.

"Okay, maybe he don't. But! What he did to you was somehow suspicious." She squinted her eyes to me.

"Oh, come on!" I facepalmed for the second time now.

"What are you girls talking about?" Seungkwan chimed in.

"You're so nosey, don't mind us having our girls talk." Seohee slung her arm around my shoulders.

"You girls have been acting suspicious lately. Are you girls talking about us?" And it's Minghao who piped in.

Lucky enough, Mr. Jeon came in right on time. We all went to our own seats and soon the class started.

"Your finals are just a week away now. I believe there's nothing else for me to explain as all of you are fully prepared by now. Anyone still struggling?" Mr. Jeon raised an eyebrow, that looks so grisly and threatening.

I can't say that I am fully prepared by now but I can't say that I'm not prepared either. I mean, I do can answer the questions by myself but sometimes there's still careless mistakes and miscalculations which I still need to improve. And sometimes I got confused between non-current assets and current assets, and other few things.

"Use this time to do your self study. If you have any questions, you can raise your hand to ask me." He said, all of them nodded their heads understandingly and started to do their self study.

"Kim Hangyeol." Mr. Jeon called me.

I saw Seohee covering her mouth, trying so hard not to laugh. I walked to the front and went to him. He stared at me and deeply sighed soon after. That looks like a bad sign to me.

"How many times must I tell you? You need to double check everything. There's a lot of careless mistakes here. You forgot to include interest on loan. And here, the amount of accrued expenses are wrong." And there he keep pointing out my small and careless mistakes that leads to the loss of marks.

"Don't answer in a rush, always take your time. Check everything attentively, make sure you've included everything and make sure your fomulas are all correct." He scolded me, but not as harsh and as stern as before.

"Alright." I nodded my head.

"Hello, hello! Welcome back to my counseling office! Today will be your last day of attending my counseling session!" Mr. Kwon exuberantly remarked, I chuckled because of Mr. Kwon's childishness.

"So, how's everything going?" He asked me, smiling.

"Well.. Everything's fine.. I'm sure you know that I'm improving day by day.. But it's just that there's still small mistakes? Just small mistakes." I nervously chuckled, Mr. Kwon shoot me a death glare.
