Kunikuzushi had told me Tartaglia's final words.

"Other than Dottore, none of the other Harbingers are here. Block all the entrances before you face the Tsaritsa."

He thought it would be more efficient if he went towards the Tsaritsa, and I hurried to block off all the entrances.

So that's what we did.

In my bag, I had a lot of stuff. Kuni had already thought of many scenarios and prepared materials based on those possibilities.

However, for this particular scene, I didn't need anything that he'd prepared.

After dealing with the Shogun Training machine, I'd learned how to make a hydro barrier. It's not easy to break, either. It would either take one hell of a storm or my death.

Instead of running around the building and making tiny barriers around every opening, I thought it'd be more efficient to just make a huge one that surrounds the entire building.

But that will take a shit ton of energy.

Anything for Kuni, though. I'm on my knees for this man /hj.

I needed to focus. Everything was quiet. I started by creating a small water bubble then expanded it. I continued to extend it until it became large enough to, assumingly, cover the entire building.

When I let go of the bubble of water, I fell to my knees.

This shit is not easy (hey guys a/n here I'm giving up on actually trying to make this story good. please excuse my terrible storyline from this point forward).

I stood up slowly and wobbly. My legs were weak from how much energy that spell took.

Kuni was probably going to need my help with the Tsaritsa soon. I quickly turned around and immediately ran into something. I fell backward onto the floor.

"Archons, what the hell?" I whispered to myself.

"Y/N?" A familiar voice spoke from above me.

My eyes widened in shock. "T- What the fuck?!" I scrambled off of the floor to get a better look. "Childe?"

Tartaglia had his hand on his head, trying to stop the bleeding coming from his skull. He laughed slightly, "In the flesh... hardly. Kinda dying, here."

"Oh my fucking god, holy shit." My fingers moved quickly to open my bag and pull out bandages. "How are you not fucking dead?!" I asked him.

"Traveler, I don't know what to tell you. I swear to the Archons that I was sent to the afterlife. I guess they didn't want me." He laughed, then winced.

"You're too fucking tall," I said, "Bend down so I can wrap these bandages around your head."

He did as told, and I did as I said.

"So, what's happening?" Tartaglia asked.

I remembered how Kuni was facing the Tsaritsa alone. "Shit. I'll explain on the way. Can you run?"

"If I can come back from the dead, I can run, comrade. Let's go."

.....

"They've corrupted you." The Tsaritsa said.

"They've done nothing wrong." He barked back, "You were the one who corrupted me."

"You've changed. The traveler must've brainwashed you."

Kuni growled. "Leave them out of this! I brought them into it, not the other way around. I'm doing this of my own accord."

"Scaramouche-"
