Hi, readers!

I am so sorry for the unexpected hiatus; I had come to a block in my writing. Luckily, I got over my writer's block (funnily enough, it happened after I watched Little Women). Please enjoy this new chapter! As always, although never previously noted to you, I am always up for suggestions. Please make your comments, questions, and concerns known to me in the comments.

Enjoy the chapter & thank you for reading!

With love,

The Loud English Major

Sisterly Love

Marmee put her hand up against the door, grazed her hand against the outer frame, and started walking down the stairs. As she made her way down, she heard Jo rip open the door, "Marmee! Marmee! Mr. Laurence gave me the address!"

As Marmee reached the bottom of the staircase, she looked up at her daughter "My dear, what do you mean?"

Jo pummeled down the staircase as fast as she could and tried to heave through her sentence, "Mr—Laurence... he... gave... me... their address!"

"Jo, that's splendid! Are you going to write to him?"

"Of... course!" She huffed and puffed, "Have we always had that many stairs?"

Marmee chuckled, "We have, but I don't think I have ever seen you this excited. Your poor heart must be beating as fast as a horse's!"

Jo started to calm down, "Feels like it, that's for sure."

"You know, your sister is leaving soon to Italy, Jo. You should make it a point to spend time with her before she leaves."

Jo felt horrid, amidst all of this confusion with Laurie she had forgotten to spend time with her sister and her husband-to-be, "Oh, Marmee! I feel so awful."

"I am sure she will understand, Jo. All of you sisters should spend an evening together, make some dinner perhaps," Marmee suggested.

"I will sit back and relax and let the housewives do the cooking," Jo pridefully remarked.

"You might want to start practicing–" Marmee noted to Jo.

"For whom? The only person I will ever cook for is myself and possibly the rest of the family."

Marmee, like Mr. Laurence, knew Jo's true feelings for Laurie, "Nevertheless, you should all cook together. Cooking is an important skill to learn."

"Well, where is Amy?" Jo changed the subject.

"At Aunt March's probably. I think they are arranging their departure."

"Well, I will see you later," Jo embraced her mother. Jo grabbed her coat and a muffin that Hannah had made earlier. She still had the address from Mr. Laurence in her hand, she folded it up crisply and placed it in her boot. She closed the door and walked over to mean old Aunt March's house. She was still frustrated with her cranky aunt for her outburst at Christmas—she knew exactly what she was doing. Bringing up Laurie when she knew exactly what had happened! As Jo approached her aunt's door, she let out a huff, "Ugh." She wiped the snowflakes off of her shoulder and knocked.

Dario answered the door, "Hello, Jo! How come you don't come into this house like you do Meg's?"

"Dario, this is Aunt March's house–you always knock," Jo patted his arm and Dario moved out of the doorframe and allowed her to enter, "Where's Amy?" she asked.
